Pig Trapping and stalking you until you're dead.
Listen, I don't often find myself making a fuss about a game, but I cannot help to be a little irked by the way I was killed by a pig just a minute ago. The moment the pig was able to knock me down, they put a trap on my head and waited for me to be unhooked. Once unhooked, he followed me while stalking, watching my timer go down, and every time I went to get the trap off my head, they would be pull me off, or knock me up to the point I was dead. I feel like this is unfair, unless of course, I'm missing something then that's my bad.
I hope this is something that will be fixed in the near future, and apolgize if in any way I am in fact wrong and wasted my time.

The game is full of stuff like this that's really unhealthy and they move at a snail's pace to address any of it. And even then the core issues always remain. Anti-tunnel could've been a gateway to addressing issues like this, but we saw how that went down. Basically just count your losses.

I do not do this, and any Pig attempting it is actively throwing the trial just to mess with one surv, and likely will only get that single kill.

Yeah I don't think anyone would miss this if it went, it's kind of zzzzzz gameplay

It's boring, but also the most ineficient way for Pig to kill you.
The counterplay is to stall out as long as possible.
Try to bait her into starting a chase.
And your teammates should just genrush and leave you to fate, because helping only speeds it up.

Mometarily breaking my hiatus to defend Pig, since she's the only thing worth clinging onto anymore. ^🐽^
I know this scenario seems hopeless and extremely unfair, but as a Pig main with respectable hours on her, who is also in regular discussion with some very long standing Pig players...
People have far more agency here than they think... and they can punish a Pig doing this really hard. The things you have to remember are:
- Headtrap timers are 150 seconds (130s with Tampered Timer)
- The timer pauses when you are in chase, or when downed/hooked.
- Your searches can be anywhere between 1 and 4 searches.
- Pig moves at 4m/s (4.2m/s with John's Medical File) while crouched and cannot hurt you without standing up, or using ambush.
- You can leave trial with an active trap via hatch.
A Pig stalking for head pop can't allow you to complete a box, they can't leave you at any point as you only need to get 1 box to potentially get the trap off. They also can't enter chase or down you without stopping the timer either, and if you exploit this fact, you can waste so much of their time.
So the game plan:
It's a little contextual, and it does rely on your team not being ameoba brains, but the best thing you can do is not be afraid of her.
Let her waste half your trap timer following you, taking her around loops. What you're looking for is a stun to make her stand up so you can run away and hopefully trick her into activating chase, wasting even more time.
After about half your timer is gone (or you're down to 1 or 2 gens), stick to box do not let go and start forcing her to grab you or down you (if you've got Plot Twist, you're laughing your ass off... now shes really screwed). In either case she now has to stop your timer. Keep crawling so you don't recover, your goal here is to stay on the floor. If she picks you up and hooks you, that's great, you've wasted about 90s or more with your team uncontested on gens, and now you've got a whole 70s on hook.
With this much uncontested time on gens, your team should be on the last gen about to pop, if not popped already and on gates.
This is unfortunately where your chance of survival is slim... you need to get unhooked (or picked up), survive looping long enough for everyone to leave (and dor them to be smart enough to actually leave), and then reach hatch before Pig catches you.
Realistically you're probably dead... but you've just spent 3 minutes making this Pig player look incredibly dumb and a hard point of how bad this Pig player is... and if you do get hatch... you probably will convert this player from ever trying this crap again.
You COULD try and remove this... but I struggle to see something you can do to prevent it, that also doesn't needlessly nerf normal Pig play in the process. For example chase being started while crouched? People can swing near you to start chase and pause their timers, and Pig can't stop it... forcing her to chase them...
Big deal you might say... but everything Pig does is about making the most of her Pig timers, and she already has a lot of caveats to dance around... this is one more thing that she doesn't need.
Have a good one! >🐽^

The reality is 1k simulator setups are just that - 1k simulators. Buy as much time as you can, force her to continue to babysit you, pray your team understands the wincon and slams gens.
Would it be nice if it was less possible for a killer to do this? Yeah, probably, but killer-specific anti-tunnels arent the kinds of systems the devs seem to have the time to prioritize at the moment, so we gotta play around em until they're dealt with

If The Pig tunnels you with an active RBT, it should reset entirely and perhaps even become inactive until the next gen pops. That would surely discourage most from tunneling with an active RBT. Yes, we know it's counterproductive, but some don't care and want to make the Trial miserable for someone anyway. This would provide some relief. The game needs more baked-in measures to discourage tunneling.

The problem is, if you are that survivor.
The only thing you can do is delay the trap-kill and get downed over and over while trying to do boxes.
Which, you realistically cant escape and it as boring as 4 min bleedout slugs.

As others have said before, a Pig that does this strategy, is actively throwing the game. She will probably (not guaranteed) get one kill and that's it. Any further kills are entirely on the survivors playing poorly.
A Pig playing this way isn't using the power correctly by any means. For me, it's a last resort strategy to get at least one kill against extremely strong teams when I already lost 4-all gens and only got one hook.
The strongest Pig is the Pig that spreads traps, tracks searches and survivor patching and rarely ever tunnels.

I don't disagree, however your team wins and escapes if the Pig does this. It's throwing the trial.

was about to say this myself…. pig isn't exactly blight, her messing up one single survivor usually means she's getting 0k or 1k
