Hopefully these badges will be given retroactively for people who already have P100 characters?

Setting licensed characters aside, is there a reason why the P100 reward couldn’t be a cosmetic item that feels more valuable?

Hey Mandy, just a quick question.

I like the badges I've seen (my Alan will be very happy when he eventually reaches P100) but I noticed there's only a badge for Aestri and nothing for Baermar. I only ever play as him, so I was wondering: is this an oversight or is he simply not getting one?

This is exactly what I expected which is why I was not excited at all. Granted, I always said it will just be a special Charm, but a Badge is basically the same.

IMO it would have been cool to have a permanent BP Bonus when playing with a non-P100 Character for each P100 Character you own. It can even be made lower the more characters you own to not make it something players might miss out on if they dont go for many P100s.

Like starting from 10% for one P100 character, 15% for 2, 18 for 3, 20 for 4 and from then onwards every P100 character increases BP-gain by 1%.

Because the biggest flaw I have with the Prestige System is that once you reach P100 on a Survivor, you are less likely to play them. At least this is the case for me, I mained Nea for many years and have all Cosmetics and tons of Items on her, but since I got her to P100, I barely play her (basically only in events to stockpile even more Items on her). For Killer it is different, I dont even own a P100, since I play multiple Killers and level them. (But of course it is different there anyway, since every Killer plays different)

If the Bonus is small enough, it should be fine. I just feel that Badges are exactly nothing you can call a Reward. At least they dont feel like you earned anything when grinding a character to P100.

It's just they have gotten so stingy with BP lately it would leave a sour taste in my mouth if they did this.

I'm all for a good reward but when they announced that they were working on a P100 reward and Mandy said on the forums it would not be a skin I just knew it would be pretty basic. I was holding out hope for a least a charm but knew even that was a wish in the dark.

This is not a nice thing its more insulting than if you just gave us nothing forever don't tease rewards and then deliver something completely useless and irrelevant since people already see your p100 at the end of the game
P100 should've never released if you were never going to reward players meaningfully for their dedication

Hope vs reality. Everyone has their own view what a reward should be. The problem that it is different from person to person. Working in the confines of not wanting to make players feel like they have to do something, nobody was going to accept what would ultimately come.

The only outcome to this was complaints that it isn't enough.

really a badge; I bet you the majority would rather a skin or something that has to contribute to the actual game play not a silly badge you can only see when a match is over or when your in lobby and, which makes me sad is people are willing to spend a significant amount of time on this game only to get something worth a grain of salt which is crazy because I have spent 5 months worth of game play towards DBD whereas others a year or a year and a half or 2 years towards this game and I know for a fact there is a significant amount of people who have way more time playing dbd and the amount of people who have way more time than me shout out.

This just shows how much people are willing to put the hours of their life into the game; only for the game to give the smallest rewards for the biggest achievements like: quest rewards, bp incentives, bp event offerings heck even the events are so underwhelming which makes me sad because I and many others like I have stated before are willing to waste the time of our life which we can be doing something significant with but instead we choose to play your game because we love it.

The question I ask of you DBD are you willing to waste the effort and time of your life to put love, sweat and tears into improving the game like how your fans did or are you gonna keep us falling into a deeper pit waiting for the light we offered you; to give back onto us?

As opposed to badges that aren't even in the same style for licensed characters?

Really, it just comes down to money, there aren't enough profits involved in something the majority of players most likely will never reach, so simple badges are the lowest effort to RoI solution, which BHVR considers a win.

Legacy/Void/Blighted default tints are something that could've been done, animated banners is another, licensed characters are just an easy scapegoat to detract from the bigger picture.

Off Topic, but it would also be nice if we could apply the bloody filter to skins as well in the future.

I don't know about anyone else but I thought hitting that P100 milestone was a reward in and of itself. Aside from the infinite level 50 blood web and unlocking perks/items, there's not much reason to prestige a character past a certain point. I spent barely any BP on my Survivors before BHVR removed visible prestige in the lobby (Just enough not to get lobby dodged or singled out by the Killer but not so much that players might expect me to be good at the game).

I know I didn't P100 Legion in the expectation that I would get a underwhelming badge some day. Especially since I would have preferred a charm anyway (which would have been equally disappointing to just as many people).

I like the pictures and the banners. Maybe we will ger more in the future, maybe a cosmetic like a shirt or something like that. Maybe even like the anniversary crown.
