They added prestige rewards for killer and survivors every 25 levels you get a special badge you can equip

What a letdown. Definitely not what I thought a real P100 reward would be like.
I'd expected at least a special banner and a charm as well, or even a special T-shirt or something, that showed off the dedication to that character1 -
This is something that got discussed a lot and it was something that we spoke about on the forums, we never intended making this a big thing where people feel they need to strive for P100, it's more of a nice to have for people who have been able to invest the time into a character. If it was a cosmetic it would definitely feel more "valuable" and a must have for want of a better word (also could be problematic for licences etc), which is definitely not intended with prestiging a character.

I like the rewards but is there nothing for Resident Evil characters? I have 4 of them p100 and was disappointed to see they're the only ones to have no badge.

I get the cosmetics part for the licensed characters being hard to get allowance for, but is it possible that we might at least get something like an animated banner, at least for reaching P100. It is a big time-investment after all

Hi Mandy, I heard that the Resident Evil characters don't have badges. Are they going to be available in the next update? And could legendary character badges be possible option in the future as well?

The Resident Evil characters will have badges on the release of this chapter, there might be some differences with those ones compared to the ones shown in this PTB however - they'd use the current icons.

So basically they are just their portrait as a badge? I assume the color changes as you go up every 25?

yes, if you have a P100 character the badge should be unlocked for you on that character once this goes to Live.

Setting licensed characters aside, is there a reason why the P100 reward couldn’t be a cosmetic item that feels more valuable?

Hey Mandy, just a quick question.
I like the badges I've seen (my Alan will be very happy when he eventually reaches P100) but I noticed there's only a badge for Aestri and nothing for Baermar. I only ever play as him, so I was wondering: is this an oversight or is he simply not getting one?

there is no plans for one for Braemar, Aestri is the default - so it will be the same for Legion as well.

This is exactly what I expected which is why I was not excited at all. Granted, I always said it will just be a special Charm, but a Badge is basically the same.
IMO it would have been cool to have a permanent BP Bonus when playing with a non-P100 Character for each P100 Character you own. It can even be made lower the more characters you own to not make it something players might miss out on if they dont go for many P100s.
Like starting from 10% for one P100 character, 15% for 2, 18 for 3, 20 for 4 and from then onwards every P100 character increases BP-gain by 1%.
Because the biggest flaw I have with the Prestige System is that once you reach P100 on a Survivor, you are less likely to play them. At least this is the case for me, I mained Nea for many years and have all Cosmetics and tons of Items on her, but since I got her to P100, I barely play her (basically only in events to stockpile even more Items on her). For Killer it is different, I dont even own a P100, since I play multiple Killers and level them. (But of course it is different there anyway, since every Killer plays different)

I don't know, I think it would be a little unfair to offer extra BP for every P100 you have.

If the Bonus is small enough, it should be fine. I just feel that Badges are exactly nothing you can call a Reward. At least they dont feel like you earned anything when grinding a character to P100.

Oh that's neat, I guess… but I do hope someone out there is a little bit more excited for these than I am.
I knew this wouldn't be anything I'd be too interested in and it looks like I was right. But then I don't really care for collecting badges. It's a bit of a shame the Legion one is just Frank, since he's probably one of my least played members of the Legion (I'm a Susie main). Think I'll be sticking with the Legion jack o lanterns one, since that has the whole gang at least.

I'm of the opinion that doing something that's a complete waste of time is its own reward, hence the prestige. I was worried that we were gonna get something cool. I'm glad bhvrs got my back

I would understand not giving ones for Legendary skins though I wish that it would also unlock the effect and let you use a Legendary badge if there is one, but not even with Legion? Kind of lame. Heck, not even Julie? Just Frank?
To further explain what I mean. Like say I get Prestige 100 Nancy Wheeler. Then when I go to equip the badge for her, I will also see the badge for Robin as a further option because I bought her. Same could be done for Joey, Julie, and Susie. Please consider this.3 -
It's just they have gotten so stingy with BP lately it would leave a sour taste in my mouth if they did this.
I'm all for a good reward but when they announced that they were working on a P100 reward and Mandy said on the forums it would not be a skin I just knew it would be pretty basic. I was holding out hope for a least a charm but knew even that was a wish in the dark.

- I would have preferred something more "artistic", even a VERY BANAL T-shirt with the survivor's face (I don't know, it would make me laugh)... or a fluorescent green recolor (I'm just saying the first thing that comes to mind) of the killer's basic weapon. These badges are really "meh."🤣

This is not a nice thing its more insulting than if you just gave us nothing forever don't tease rewards and then deliver something completely useless and irrelevant since people already see your p100 at the end of the game
P100 should've never released if you were never going to reward players meaningfully for their dedication-4 -
I get that the goal was to make them so people don't feel forced to p100 but they didn't have to make them so boring. Give the badges some animation like eye winks or something and include a banner with animation. Community entries for badges/banners have more effort put in to them than these that are to celebrate hitting p100. Giving original survivors a red tshirt with p100 and original killers a red glowing weapon would've been good, just a recolor that celebrates they put in the time/BP into the BHVR designed characters.

There used to be a legacy skin killers and Survivors had they could just repurpose that as a p100 reward

Hope vs reality. Everyone has their own view what a reward should be. The problem that it is different from person to person. Working in the confines of not wanting to make players feel like they have to do something, nobody was going to accept what would ultimately come.
The only outcome to this was complaints that it isn't enough.

Im currently pleased enough with it so far. But i do have several p100s and having a banner for each character wouldve been nice too so you could show your 2 most favorite characters at once lol. Who knows if this is the end for prestige rewards or if they might be able to do more later. Likely much later as were still waiting for stuff like instant prestiging being able to choose prefered items/addons/offerings lol
