Request: 120 FPS / 120 Hz Performance Mode for PS5 Pro (and ideally PS5) + fix the cubic skin textur

Hello Behaviour,

I wanted to make a suggestion regarding Dead by Daylight on PlayStation, mainly for PS5 Pro.

I really think a 120 FPS / 120 Hz Performance Mode would be a great addition for PS5 Pro, and ideally for standard PS5 too if it’s possible.

Dead by Daylight is a game where smoothness and responsiveness matter a lot. Things like reaction time, camera clarity, movement precision, chase readability, vault timing, and close hit interactions all feel better when performance is higher. For players using a 120 Hz display, a mode like this could make a real difference during loops, mindgames, fast chases, and other situations where timing matters a lot.

I’m personally playing on PS5 Pro, and I feel like the hardware has the potential for this kind of improvement. Sony recently announced an upgraded version of PSSR for PS5 Pro, and Resident Evil Requiem is the first game confirmed to use that newer version to help preserve both image quality and performance. Because of that, I think it would make sense to at least consider a performance-focused upgrade for Dead by Daylight on PS5 Pro as well.

Even if some visual settings had to be lowered a bit, I think a lot of players would gladly take that trade-off for better responsiveness, smoother motion, and clearer gameplay overall. A dedicated Performance Mode on PS5 Pro would honestly be a really nice upgrade for the console version of the game, and if support for base PS5 is possible too, that would be even better.

I also wanted to report another issue on PlayStation, especially noticeable on PS5 Pro.

There seems to be a skin / character texture bug where character skin can sometimes look blocky, cubic, or visibly broken, instead of looking smooth and normal. It doesn’t really feel like a normal graphics limitation or simple quality reduction. It looks more like an actual rendering or texture issue affecting character models, and it’s noticeable enough in-game to hurt immersion.

I noticed it even more after playing on PC, where character skin rendering looked much cleaner. On PlayStation, it really feels like a visual bug rather than just a lower-quality version of the graphics.

So my request is:

1.Please consider adding a 120 FPS / 120 Hz Performance Mode for PS5 Pro, and ideally for PS5 too if possible.

2.Please investigate and fix the blocky / cubic skin texture issue on PlayStation.

Thank you for your time and for continuing to support the game.
