Reasonable Ghoul Nerfs
First of all, he needs many of his animation bugs fixed or even changed. These bugs makes him way harder to tell what he is doing.
I know BHVR is dead set on the auto aim feature but that doesn't mean it can't be changed. The Auto-aim shouldn't be instant. It is definitly fun to do it as a killer but feels unjustified as survivor. Maybe for ghoul to lock in, it needs to buffer depending on the closeness of the survivor which can be indicated both to the survivor and the killer by the bite mark being close until if fully charges. For example; If survivor is in 5 meters of range, it needs to be buffered for 0.5 seconds to lock on to the auto aim and injure, if it is in 10 meters it needs to buffer 1 second and so on. Some games with auto aim mechanics actually do this (i.e Lock-on Assault Rifle in Fortnite) and I think this can reduce the "unfairness" of the auto aim he has and gives survivors a chance to react. If Ghoul presses while the mouth is closed, it can do the leap and slow himself without injure and get enranged. (And lore wise maybe it can be him still trying to be human and not hurt others, even if it is only 0.5 seconds)
To make him show more skill expression we can add another punishment to his kit, a small one. While he is in window of oppurtunity for 5 seconds (the time where he can leap a second or a third time) if he misses to leap, it reduces the window of oppurtunity time by 1 to 2 seconds. What do you think?

daily nerf ghoul post

The fact that he lands his first hit easily is the least of his problems; Legion can do that too, and he’s weak. Kaneki’s problem is his absurd mobility, the extremely rapid stamina drain when canceling his power, and jumping over pallets and through windows.

yup, lets nerf a killer thats not OP just because.

Daily complain about people having a different opinions then you about ghoul.
Last post I saw you do this on it wasn't even nerfs it was just changes.3 -
I hate comparisons to legion.
You can avoid a legion hit by
- playing the pallet with legion
- teammate body blocking while in mending
- Whiffing the hit making legion loose power
You can avoid a ghoul hit by
- Not being seen
I think the other issues you mentioned would not be complained about as much if ghoul had to earn both his hits.2 -
changes that would completely gut and kill ghoul s a killer nice bait

I can't tell if it's Ping or it just looks bad or he's OP or a combination of the three but it feels like hot garbage when you are getting hit around rocks and corners, over pallets and windows. Or bugs… nearly forgot.

He's strictly middle of the road kill rate wise according to the devs. He needs no nerfs at all.
It's okay for killers to be annoying to deal with.-1 -
The Nurse has a below-average kill rate and is the strongest killer in the game, so that argument doesn't hold water.

The devs didn’t say he was middle of the road in terms of kill rate, they just said he was middle of the road overall. They’ve also explicitly said that The Nurse is one of the strongest killers in the game, which already shows they’re not judging strength purely by kill rate. If they were only looking at kill rate, Nurse wouldn’t be considered one of the strongest killers.

Ah good point, but first you gotta find where the devs actually said he was middle of the road in kill rate.

What other statics would they be looking at when they made the middle of road comment? genuinely curious.
The only other stat it could be is the DC stat they mentioned was low, but why would they balance based on DCs that would be more evidence that they are out of touch as that just encourages people to dc for balance changes.
We can see from official publicly released stats for last year he is number 1 pick rate so hes not middle of the road when it comes to that
I also agree hes not middle of the road kill rate wise, as again publicly released official stats put him in top 5 kill rate, only killer outside blight to show up on both top 10 pick rates and top 10 kill rates.
So what stats that does leave? Average match length? Average hooks? would be odd for them to seemly use these stats just for ghoul when we haven't seen that logic in the past in balancing. eg nerf ad ons that are highly used,
Edit: Ghoul is also at the top of these last year stats when he was released 3 months into the year, so even with a 3 month delay hes still that high.0 -
The devs can see the data in a much more detailed and precise way. That’s probably why, despite The Nurse having a lower overall kill rate, they still consider her one of the strongest killers in the game. They’re likely looking at performance across different MMRs.

He's annoying because it's braindead designed killer, however he's not that crazy like other killers. He's 50s window to hold power bothers me.

Ghoul already has gotten 5 nerfs (if not more) since his release. His power goes on cd by kagune leap hit, breaking a pallet, or using both charges. He's in a good spot so long as they dont Skull Merchant'd him
