I love the new aura changes! Sooooo much easier on the eyes and I like fooling around with the different colors! Thank you BHVR! ❤️

    Yeah this

Please let us change it for Surv/Killer seperately that would be much appreciated.

    Almost a perfect feature.

Adding the ability to have separate colours for when playing as Killer and Survivor would make this a 10/10 addition. It's the only thing that feels missing currently.

Can we get a bubble change? I know that's a spicy ask, but I would like to use Kindred without having to pair it with Open-Handed each time.

It worked like that prior, but now all of a sudden you can't see the killer if they leave the bubble quickly as the bubble obscures information - as you know information is important for information in soloq or just in general for other survivors.

Anyways, I will attempt to see about the aura color changes but that's a point of contention that's been brought up dozens of times and it is in the realm of aura/bubble.

I would appreciate either reverting the scourge hook color for survivors using the Sabo perk to the old yellow color, or giving us an option to change them. The current white aura is harder to pick out than the old yellow.

This is a great start but it definitely could be expanded upon in the future, both with options to set aura colors on a per-role basis (ie. especially for those of us who would like to keep the different colors for survivor auras like they used to be) as well as adding more options in the future such as totem auras, auras related to certain perks (ie. scourge hook auras, or the yellow gen color used by Blast Mine, Eruption, etc.).

I have noticed as well that certain colors are a bit washed out and difficult to see especially on certain maps, for example the new default blue color for survivor auras I almost immediately switched back to yellow because the blue aura was really difficult to see on the new map.

    Overall W change though

Yea the alternate aura colors for survivors could be more saturated to be comparable to the default yellow. I tried blue / purple and had to immediately switch back to yellow.

Very Minor QOL change I would add.

Should add text to clarify it does not affect compromised gens like the hook one does for scourge hooks.

Please revert these aura changes or at least let us use the default colors from ages ago. The news ones are fine but the yellows are washed out and the reds don't even match.

Also , there is no option to change the totem colors, so they are just stuck in that horrible yellow that you decided was good.

Please bring back the classic aura options, this is a welcome change but there are people that like the old auras intensities and colors.

I feel like this is obligatory:

+1 to the "please let us change auras between roles" option. Other than that, solid feature.

Need separate color options for totems and killer power objects so you can easily see those as currently Nightmare has hard time to know what pallet is real and what fake by aura if they run Zanshin Tactics at the same time.

Is it possible to implement a feature that priorities an aura-read? Currently (for example) if you have survivor-aura blue and gen-aura read, the survivor-aura can still be hidden the gen-aura which is often annoying despite the different colors. It would be cool if we could priorities specific auras - for example, if that blue-survivor is behind the gen, their aura is "infront" of the generator.

Otherwise, the aura-colors are a bit too pale and need to be darker. Yesterday, I've had a match with Hex: Hive Mind and it was very difficult to tell the gen-progress due to the pale colors. Before this update, I've never that this problem to tell the amount of progress based on the color intensity.

On my own opinion the you should be able to hide behind other auras to hide yourself from aura read. So I would not really like that they would remove basically one of the only four possible counters to aura read. Its just going to make the game more simple and simple is not always the best option.

I see, yeah I did fidget with the colors earlier.

I actually made my gens white, so they're clear as day for me to see because the red - I think it's because I just got so tired of seeing red (ironic as it's my favorite color).

Survivors are just blue for me (my second favorite color, so I don't mind the changes). I even made the killer white so the killer doesn't blend with the dreaded bubble. I have no complaints other than the bubble, but I can see your perspective as well and hopefully Behavior takes your suggestions in as well. - along with all the other comments in this thread too.

As other people have mentioned, the colors for survivors and killers should be separated, it's not convenient to adjust colors every time you change roles

Not sure if intended but the killer aura changes the aura of Doctor's Hallucinations.

I would imagine that to be intended as they did not set different color option to killer power auras so it uses the default for the object set. Freddy for example can't tell his fake pallets from the real ones while using Zanshin Tactics. They need to add an option for killer power aura too so you can separate those from normal.

Good feature as an idea, but it needs to be improved. Let us have all of the old colours and settings back as an option, and give more options of what we can change the auras of. I was just playing on dead sands and the new yellow colour for totem auras made it way harder to see than the previous pink, my plaything totem just blended in.

hook bubble no longer blocks auras tho since krasue. It was already fixed

  • Wezqu
    Wezqu Member Posts: 1,156

Another thing that needs to be fixed is that it seems generator aura is blocking auras of survivors that are on the side of the gen you are looking at. Like I have nothing against the generator blocking it if they are behind it and only showing the parts that are not but they should not be invisible if they are in front of the generator. Noticed this in one match where I could see the aura of a survivor leg that was not in front of the gen in question but could not see the rest of him at all when his aura should be visible when he is on the same side of the gen than where I am looking.

Is it? I swear a random of mine used Kindred and I could not see the killer at all.

I'd have to test it, but thank you - if not, it still needs to be implemented. No reason for bringing a basic Kindred and you can't even see where a Bubba goes without the bubble obscuring the killer and it would be nice to not have to use it all the time with Open-Handed.

I'll play with my Rebecca build and see (Kindred/Reassurance) sometime today.
