Wesker nerf completely unnecessary!

Never change a running system! Wesker was a balanced killer and his techs were part of him giving his players a higher skill ceiling, making them able to keep up with modern killers, even though they might not have been intended in the first place. You guys answered, you wanted to keep them possible on this very forum (looking at you, Mandy!). Now the changes went out and you slightly fixed some of the PTB mess you made, but you still made him worse to play.
Rebounds don't work as good as before. Instahugs are no longer possible. The input-buffering is said to be fixed, only to bring up the issue that if you hold m1 too long after charging power, you immediately initiate a second dash unintendedly.
If you double click, the input isn't properly stored though and there is a micro cooldown between dashes. It feels weird to play him now.
I really hope the big Wesker players are going to make detailed video reports on these issues, because they can describe it way better than me.

ALSO BIG ISSSUE: Survivors don't get a speed boost anymore, after slamming them into something and injuring them. They still get their speed boost when throwing them, though. This is unfair to survivors going against Wesker.

All in all, I feel robbed and frustrated now this went to live. Revert him to his former state please!

I think it would be better to reverse any whesker changes too. High skill ceiling is perfect and the techs that it enabled were impressive and balanced as well.

I think they should feel great whenever a killers maximum power can only be fully utilized by highly skilled players, as in low elos killers dominate and in higher elos survivors dominate, which is where killers actually do need that extra power

depends how many hours you have on him. They basically introduced short delay between dashes, which won't matter for new players on Wesker, but hey if you have hundreds of hours something like this will throw you off.

I don't think a revert is in the cards. It might be that whatever they changed isn't specific to Wesker, moreso that Wesker was invariably going to be caught in the crossfire, such that they were forced to refactor his kit to try and make whatever other changes they did work without breaking him entirely. It'd be great if we could get even a mini-ELI5 on what's actually going on instead of having to rely on second/third hand info from specific content creators/CC's chats but it is what it is.

Tell me, why do you hate Wesker players so much?

You encourage the Ghoul game, although there are many more technical errors, ignore the fact that the survivors DO NOT WANT and DO NOT PLAY against this killer, feeling the same hatred as against the first version of Skull Merchant, refusing to resist, especially on small maps. Do you have a third-person view of Chucky, an endless Michael Myers oneshot with an exit that is sometimes impossible to beat, but at the same time you kill a popular killer who already has nothing good on him? You've removed the idea of infection. You've reduced the speed. You have not given any additional abilities, at least to speed up the cooldown of the skill. Maybe your Ghoul will have a rollback of a little more than 0.3 seconds? Oh, no. Maybe you can make it a 3.8 speed? No, of course not. God. I'm so hurt... I've spent so much time and effort on a crooked killer with no ability, just because I really love Resident Evil, and you've taken away my only joy, just like you took away the humor with Steve the Seagull from the players. God... Tell me, what is your game for anyway? I don't understand anymore. Not to defeat the enemy. Not for skills. Not for fun, and certainly not for fans. It's a shame to the point of tears that I spent money to end up with a clumsy BARGE after the patch that stumbles over EVERY TEXTURE and can't even jump out the window...

I just wanted to insert a YouTube video made by the creator SaltNest, describing how the changes affect advanced Wesker players and to spread awareness. The video is not mine and if the original creator wants me to delete this, I will do so.

Wesker was my favorite killer, but now he's impossible to play properly—or rather, it's playable, but completely uninteresting and uncomfortable. It's annoying that there was no reason to ruin him. Even the standard hug technique now works intermittently and often crashes, although I could always perform it before the update. What's the reason?

Skull Merchants gutting was completely unnecessary as well, by this time it should be obvious that the devs dont really care about killer mains. Nurse and Blight mains though, just maybe.
