Question for all especially survivor mains.
I got a major question, what if lets say today or tomorrow, all killer mains quit. What would happen? Just the killer mains, not those who dabble in both.
Like every current killer main quit right now, what would happen within idk the next 7 days. Genuine curiosity. The killers never coming back, full leave and ditch never coming back no matter what.
Just genuinely curious on what you'd believe would happen.
also to the mods: This is a pure discussion not a quitting thread. However please keep an eye in the replies and make sure no one goes overboard! please!

Same thing that would happen if all the survivor mains quit.

Killer mains be like:

The game would die as queues explode. Survivors would stomp on remaining killers. since all the killer mains left it's safe to assume the average killer skill level would go down. Survivors would migrate to other games or play more killer to avoid the now preposterous queues. Quality of the games would scare off new players, and the game would become financially untenanle. RIp

Yeah this forgets the people who play both sides that are in reality the majority of players so if those that main killers would leave then queue times might get higher but it would not remove all killer players. I myself for example would not really get why you play a game but only half of it anyway.

I'd probably play killer more often and ask the other survivor mains in postchat to take on the role more often aswell. This game has a pretty amazing community, so I have faith it'd work out eventhough I'd miss out sadistic counterparts who most of the time turn out to be big teddybears aswell when you thank them for a fun game in post <3

Yeah, most players at least dabble in both sides; removing those on either side who only play one side would be disruptive, but not game ending by any stretch.
Removing players on both sides who only play one role would benefit the game. It would hurt BHVRs bottom line a bit, but the health of the game itself would improve.

This has the same energy as asking what would happen if every alpha male were to disappear.
Oh no. Stop. Don't go.
Wrapping your identity up into this tribalistic power role garbage and culture of grievance instead of what's healthy for the overall game and ALL players is asinine, and the community would be better if those players did move on.

This is my take as well. I'm technically still a Survivor main because that's what I've historically preferred, but these days (unless an event is live) I play Killer pretty much exclusively. So I wouldn't be going anywhere in this scenario.
There must be very few "Killer only" mains out there, though I can see there being more players that only play Survivor. Some people only want to play with their friends or don't want to acclimatise themselves to the stress of playing Killer (as we all know, it's definitely a very stressful role when you first start playing it).

The vast majority of players seem to play both roles. Pay attention to the p100 badges people have been using. Killers with survivor pictures, survivors with killer pictures. It's actually been wonderful to see it so visually displayed. I make sure to switch my badge when I switch roles. This hyper-biased main nonsense is more prevalent on social media than the actual game. The amount of people who play 85%+ killer is probably very small, however loud they may be.

I'd play more killer honestly, as the bp bonuses would be nice

I myself quite often chose the side by what side is getting the bloodpoint bonus. Sometimes I play the side I want but I like bloodpoints so that quite often decides what side I play.
