They need a "NO/STOP" emote for survivors

I don't want to get too negative about this post, but I run into scenarios where really the best course of action is for a fellow survivor is to stop…STOP trying to do what you're doing to ME.

An easy scenario…someone unhooks me unsafely and they are trying to heal me so hard but I know the killer is coming and we both hear it, but they are RUNNING. The only way to BREAK them from healing me is to RUN AWAY as well. It might turn out to be a toxic emote but seriously, there's no way to convey "GO AWAY" or "STOP to another survivor right now.

  • This could be good and bad. A emote to tell newer survivors to stop trying to heal against legion or stop cleansing against plague. But there would definitely be players who used it in toxic ways. Still could help to have a few extra emotes

Though I'd like either a chat wheel or maybe some more emotes, most things are pretty conveyable to experienced players. For "go away" I point. For "stop" I shake my head and sometimes use the "come here" gesture to make them stop doing a paritucualr action. You can't emote mid-heal anyway so that would require something else.

Whats next, bringing every single emote from fortnite? If ya teammate screws up thats on them.

I'm absolutely against emotes. It would turn this game into something it isn't. But a simple cross arm horizontal wave for "no" would totally be in line with the point and come here wave we already have.

Dances, NO, but simple communication, sure

Yess comm wheel is long overdue, if people really don't want to use it they don't have to but should be a option for those of us who would love it in soloq

Isn´t the emote of saying no a cold stare while shaking your head from the left to the right?

There have been a lot of people who want paid survivor emotes and killer moris. Definitely won't make the game goofier or contribute to toxicity s/

Let's make the emote wheel and make it just like fortnite

Well had this interaction in one of my matches yesterday. I am filling bloodgen and going to go get more as its almost done. Another survivor who is hurt comes in with a can and fills it up and gen finishes. I wait as was going to heal her right after. She bolts away I follow to another gen I try to wave her off so I can heal she does not do anything and keeps fixing. Well took it as her not wanting to get healed so go get more blood to fix other gens. Later in the match this same survivor is fixing another gen still hurt I come there hurt she heals me and I jump on the gen as she thinking she does not want to be healed she stands there for a second or two looking towards me until she starts fixing the gen too. Was like well don't know what that was she did not wave me off or anything. After the match is over I get called all kind of things because apparently her staring me on the second interaction was her asking me to heal her. She and her friend kept telling me off and I explain them what happened and still they keep claiming that her staring was some indication of me to heal her now? Told them to learn how to communicate in the match as even waving me off the gen would have told me she wanted a heal staring me does not mean anything when earlier she did not let me heal her and now I am supposed to know that she wants the heal.

So would not mind some more ways to emote in the game as long as they are not anyway be able to use negatively.

BHVR sucks at monetizing this game. I would pay for custom loading screens, custom emotes, custom mori, custom animations, etc.

What do they do instead? Create some janky ugly survivor cosmetic no one asked for.

Some of the best cosmetics are from the fog or community ones. Says a lot.

The thing is all objectives are up for grabs with everyone. Some people have the objective to heal others. Some people are really good at healing and doing gens with the killer running around very near by. To say NO you simply shake your head no. It's actually quicker to shake your mouse from side to side then trying to pull up an emote wheel (No. I don't want a wheel) or even using #3 for a hand up stop emote. I've been in the game for years and talking is 1, a benefit for playing with friends and or making friends to play with so you can use coms 2, there's plenty of ways to communicate. I just jump forward and shake my head no when I'm telling someone not to heal me and point to a gen to say do that instead and it's pretty clear. If the game is a complete loss and there is only myself and 1 other I will often sacrifice myself and I will hand a med kit to the other person and point to gate as to say "save yourself and escape" then I run off to bait the killer and make killer mad enough to tunnel and hook me. I've have never had anyone not understand that. When I play killer I often talk to the survivors but seems newer players do not understand the language. For example I just like to scare people on Meyers, I don't need points and often let the team get all the points they want. I will hit the gens but too many don't realize that means "WORK THE GEN" or I will swing my weapon towards me and in that I'm saying "COME TO ME" or swinging your weapon and or shaking no when carrying a surv means "DON'T WIGGLE" I find an awful lot of people have no clue what killer is saying and they run off all scared. Okay, I get it, I meant to scare them but I don't wanna kill them. However I do run into people that are what I call old school and they know exactly how to communicate with killers. But in all honesty, communication isn't part of the game UNLESS you are playing with friends and on comms. Those who do NOT listen to me while I'm talking to them on Meyers… they get hurt cause GAME ON then. Which just adds to the fun. Short reply.. Just shake your head No. It's always been an option.
