Instead of making Windows of Opportunity basekit, do this instead
Now, it is a bit hotly contested as to whether or WoO should be basekit. Survivors usually argue that it's an accessibility issue, Killers usually argue that it would provide way too much value to Survivors.
To this, I say that they're both right, which means we need a different solution. I suggest this…
YELLOW PAINT!!! YEAHHHHHHH!!!!
YELLOW PAINT ON WINDOWS AND PALLETS! LET'S GO!
Turn that option on and every single Window and Pallet in the game gets a bucket of yellow paint SUPLEXED onto them! Now you can see Windows and Pallets from afar without it providing too much value!
Don't like the yellow! Change the color!!!
Make it red to look like there has been at least FIVE TRIALS that occurred before this one! Everything is drenched in BLOOD!
Make it lime green to look like some fresh Nickelodeon SLIME!!!
Make it black to make things HARDER for yourself!!! YEAAAAH!!!!!
Make it purple because GAWD I LOVE BEING PURPLE!!!!
Ahem… sorry about that
Anyway, that is my idea. Paint on the objects in question! That way, the accessibility issue has been resolved, and Survivors also do not get too much information from Auras.

No one has an issue identifying a pallet from afar. Seeing them through walls is where you get value especially on indoor maps. Some players just want to know they aren't running into a deadzone

Having Windows to be base kit is really horrible idea. Perk even deserves a nerf not to be made basekit.

I would hate if WoO is basekit. I play without it on purpose for a good reason.
I really don't want my game to be follow yellow simulator. If you want something basekit, then use Kindred (survivor aura). That helps team coordination, that's what soloQ needs. It's also something it wouldn't be such a big deal, if you give it even to SWF.

We just achieved the Kindred base kit last year by visualizing the AFC gauge, and now you want more training wheels this year? Solo survivor play has become comfortable enough in the last two or three years.

How does the AFC gauge tell me if a teammate is going for the save?

Survivor basekit is already bloated and strong it doesnt need more.

who tf argues that windows should be basekit? also it is busted on survivors since survivors dictate where the chase goes

if you look on the hud and see 3 people on gens and the anti camp bar going up that means it's safe to do gens if you see 2 people on gens and one is in chase whoever stops doing the gen first is going for the save, if one guy is slugged another is in chase and one is on hook you should be saving. survivors need to learn how to read a hud

I feel like WoO should be automatically active for your first 5 to 10 trails as survivor. I mean, lots of my friends just quit the game after only a few matches because they felt like baby seals waiting for the club. I even wonder sometimes if I'd stuck around if I hadn't unlocked this perk in my first hours

This just shows that many people do not understand why people are using WoO. This just doesnt do anything useful unless youre visually handicaped.

not having lethal pursuer basekit is an accessability issue

I honestly have never seen anyone suggest that WoO should be basekit. I’ve seen this discussion come up a lot for Kindred, but never for WoO.

we can't have that, people might notice spawning feature doesn't work.

Auras are pretty strong in the game because they nullify any search phase in the game. Searching gens, survivors, totems, pallets, …
Making them basekit would be horrible.
