The Judgement Gameplay
Otz and a couple of other Creators got the chance to play a super early prototype of the Grimoire Killer and see what it would be like to play as and against them. So far seems like an interesting Killer I'm pretty hyped.

It looks like it'll be pretty fun to play, but just by the looks of it it'll be pretty miserable to play against. I hope I'm wrong tho

Oh I'm excited to play against it, the beam is a fun concept, I'm not sure how the exile works tho

The few clips Ive seen made it seem so 😭, the beam looks so dang easy to hit

I am a little worried about the minigames in the exile, since I play on controller and thus, for instance, rarely use flashlights. I hope it doesn't require things like targetting a light at something while on the run.

please remember this is a prototype, balancing is not done yet - just the design gates. This is where we see whether the power is working as intended, things like timings, cooldowns and stuff like that all comes a bit later in the process when we start balancing it.
The Content Creators had an early preview so that we could show you part of that design process - they do clearly state that the balancing part is not yet implemented.

Yeah it seems very difficult to hit and not much more rewarding, why would i not just play vecna.
Also apparently the exile is currently worse than hooking. Because there is no hook to pressure and survivors can save from multiple points in the map. They have so much work to do.-1 -
Currently, this Killer is a write off for me. Basically everything I don't enjoy in a power: 4.4 m/s, requirement to "infect" before your power injures, and a flashy gimmick that's ultimately a nothing burger.
They've stated repeatedly that this is just a preview and there's room for things to change, but given the time frame and track record, I don't buy it.

I haven't caught up on the gameplay too much but did anyone test with a controller? It seems tricky to control on controller from a very initial look

Its basically how pyramid head cages work I believe if your full Sin they can banish you to brazil

Not at all? Ghouls is a auto aim grab attack while this is like a Moving The First Vine Attack
So basically a mix of Huntress and The First with 2 hit verification to be able to Damage so it requires 3 hits to down with Ray of Retribution kinda like Nemesis
