Killer identity should be revealed to everyone when first survivor starts chase.
Responding to Community Stream earlier, where survivor perks (ty btw) and killer identity are immediately shown to the survivors.
As everyone else has said this hurts stealth killers the most. I understand the point made that most killers announce themselves very quickly (TR, Lullaby, mobility, killer interactables) but immediately knowing whether it's a Wraith vs Ghostface/Michael makes a huge difference. Ghostface in particular should be allowed to build up stalk on the survivors before making his first move. In general, this removes that initial element of surprise.
One survivor starting chase should announce the killer to everyone as a way of bridging solo and SWF survivor. Even the worst SWF survivors can say "it's a Wraith!!!"
You could even make it a fun little animation to announce it.

No.
There is absolutely no valid reason to do that.
You’ll find out the killer’s identity soon enough—you don’t need the game to help you with that.
It’s a horror game.

You can hear wraiths bell globally
You can see Ghostfaces status on the hud
You can see the portraits are darker when Skully is in play same goes for Sadako
You can see Sadako and Pigs interactables and Springtraps!
Myers is huge it's not hard to see him at all and you hear the jingles
idk pressing tab and seeing what you are up against isnt going to make a huge difference lol0 -
It shouldn't be revealed at all. Killer perks shouldn't be affected by diminished at all. It suppose to be powerrole and currently the game is so survivor-sided that it feels like bullying simulator.

SWF gets that information immediately, even before the chase starts. Tying killer reveal to chase (or first hit, somewhere around there) is the optimal decision IMO.

Yeah, I think it's good idea to include it under that "survivor perks tab", but it definetly shouldn't be visible since start of the game.
I think start of the chase is best trigger, alternative would be survivor being inside TR.

No. You say you understand and yet you don't undestand why it should still be like it is.
Yes playing with friends makes this a upper hand. But I like to be suprised in soloQ matches.

As has already been said: if this absolutely ridiculous option were ever added to the game, it should at least be implemented in a way that the information isn’t immediately visible.
That way, people like me who enjoy keeping some mystery in solo queue could preserve it, and those who need to be spoon-fed and guided every step of the way could be satisfied as well.
