It’s been almost a week since legion was removed
is there any update on when legion is coming back? He’s a really good killer to bp grind with and I really want to play them again

Legion will return the next time the game has an update, which will be when the current PTB releases onto Live.

why not fix Legion and return him as soon as possible? Other stuff that was killswitched recently like Wglf was returned asap but Legion is going to be gone a full 4 weeks. Why? its not like you're actually going to be giving him balance changes, so why hold him in the kill switch for so long?

We just had a Bugfix Patch and there are usually only 2 Bugfix-Patchers after a Chapter. So there will just not be a Patch in the near future where any Legion fixes can be deployed.
Plus, we dont know how difficult it is to find the Bug. This is why comparing things does not make sense, sometimes Bugs can be fixed easily, sometimes Bugs can take some time.
And since it is not easy to deploy Patches on so many Platforms (if I remember correctly, it takes around 2 weeks to prepare everything so that it can be shipped on Patch Day), they are most likely not able to squeeze in a third Bugfix-Patch. (And even if they would be able to do so, we dont know if they would have fixed the Bug by then)

I can't find a date for when the current PTB goes live. Usually that's three weeks after, right? So April 28th when the next 2V8 is out?
If so, that's a looong time to be out of the game. I'm sure lots of people will be jumping for joy over this (fair enough, I guess. When Knight got Kill switched for an age, those were the good old days to me).
Nevermind, I will fill the time playing more Trickster and Ghoul games :)
Edit: It just occurred to me that it's gonna be nearly 2 whole months before I can play a normal game of Legion again. Not unless I want to ruin my day playing Legion against the sweats in the normal queue during 2V8, anway. These are dark days indeed.

but why the discrepancy of bug fixes, like this isn’t just a small bug affecting xyz moments. This is a whole character removed for a very extended period of time. Why not put major efforts to fix this and get them back into the game now instead of waiting for the next update

you also have to consider things like certifications with platform holders, it's not so easy when it's outside of our regular bugfix schedule. I appreciate that people are unhappy about not being able to play the killer that they want, but the bug does need to find a solution, plus to the one being able to see into lockers, then the builds have to be built, tested, go to certification etc.

That's what I Figured. So any Legion mains are just out of luck for this year's Blood Moon event. You really need to make it so that you can still spend Blood Points on a Killswitched character, just disable the "Ready" button.

why can we not prestige characters who are killswitched? i feel like this question gets avoided entirely and i truly don’t understand why. we can purchase outfits for them but can’t level them up? especially them being gone almost the entire event? i doubt it’s as easy as it sounds. but please consider if possible. there are TONS of legion players including myself who don’t get to take advantage of one of the best events of the year. PLEASE let us prestige Legion or future killswitched characters at the very least

At the very least is it possible to make it so you can put bloodpoints into legions bloodweb while killswitched? As there are some mains out there who currently cannot prestige him during the biggest bloodpoint event of the year, and he wont be fixed till its over.

Isn't it normal for Legion players, in their bloodlust, to see people in closets with killer instincts? Or am I misunderstanding something? I mainly play Legion, and as far as I know, that's always been possible. Why would that be a bug?

I clicked legion, then clicked the bloodweb and clicked the + button right after.

Seeing survivors hiding in lockers with killer instinct, is not a bug…there's another bug with the locker interactions which I'm referring to.

specifically its not the KI thats the locker bug, there is a FOV bug with legion that when active can allow you to walk up to a locker and clip inside it, effectively seeing a survivor in a locker without opening it.
anyways sad to hear i cant feed frank any blood points… at least ill have fun playing my favorite killer in 2v8-
oh right. guess i will uninstall again when bloodmoon ends

Ahh, i didn't know that. I couldn't follow the stream very well because my English isn't very good. Did I understand correctly that the Legion won't be in the 2v8 anymore? They can't be serious.

Someone needs to explain this: First, the Legion is introduced to the 2v8 mode, and now it's being permanently removed?
Just because they can't balance it with Frency? But an Oni who can seemingly activate Fury every second is fair and gets to stay!
In my opinion, the problem isn't with the Legion or Frency balancing, but with the partner selection. The Legion is being punished for the killer's work, even though that's their job...
By removing it from the 2v8 mode, they might as well rename it 2vS Rush, since the generators are no longer manageable, while the survivors gain an ever-increasing advantage.

yes he is being removed, we can ask for him to be added again in a survey that will come with the next 2v8, but they have said they want to add killers based on how much people enjoy them. they are also asking which killers people do not want, and survivors will likely submit legion and kaneki in droves.
feels bad to like them right now :( i came back to the game for bloodmoon and quickly realized i would prefer to play survivor instead of grinding bp as pyramid head, i guess

I think it's pretty stupid that they removed them. I had fun with Legion in 2v8 mode and didn't find him that strong at all. Sure, there's the Legion/Oni combo, but even there, they could have improved things, like making the combo unselectable. I just don't understand this dislike for Legion. There are killers that are much more annoying.
Yes, I had imagined the blood moon event differently as well.
