D/C penalty

I think the penalty for leaving a game is ridiculous, why am I being forced to continue to play a game that is no longer fun or winnable, I just went against a trickster that tunneled and camped my friend, downed a random teammate and then downed me left us slugged to go look for the last survivor, why do I have to wait for that survivor to be downed to be able to abandon, it’s such a waste of my time that I have to lay here eat dirt doing nothing because the killer is wanting to slug for the 4k at 4 gens.

Be happy that you even have an abandoning option in any point. It was not there always.

I get the sentiment and frustration, but you still have 3 people left in the match. It can be winnable or at least some can escape the match if they try. Or get hatch. You never know unless you try.

A lot of people on my servers are running Convintion, Expo, Unbreak, Deliverance. I have had David's WGLF perk chronically in my survivor build for months now, just because of how much killers like to slug, well they can then eat their time being wasted and eat an endurance hit when they do that, and more often than not my teammates and I get away and do escape 🤷‍♀️ at the very least you will always earn a lot of BP, so that is always a bright side.

But if you don't care for any of that then yeah IDK. Best of luck!

We all have games that are not very fun to play out. It is not an excuse to d/c and without the penalty the game would largely be unplayable, because people love to make excuses why their d/c is valid. If people were not so prone to d/c because the killer found them first, we may not have even had the d/c penalty added in the first place.
