Game chat for survivors

I know ill get back lash for this, but why do we not have game chat for survivors. The people it puts me in the game with are just clueless, communication is the biggest thing in video games. Something needs to change with these lobbies.

    hopefully one day. A modifier would be cool adding proximity chat.

    If you go to the search bar in the general discussions and type in stuff like "Voice chat" you will see many discussions on the topic, and might get a better idea of the communities viewpoint on it. Most don't want it for many reasons.

    Hopefully this will never come, not even because of balancing, but because it can only be annoying xD

    Would be the first thing I and I imagine some other people will deactivate :D

    I would much rather prefer some chat wheel kinda like mobile had. That's simple, effective and can't really be abused.

    I will turn off the voice chat in the moment it gets live. DBD doesn't have good community, it will almost never get used to anything useful.

    Even with every other pvp game, voice chats are basically useless until you get to highest ranks, which we don't have in DBD, where all people want to win and know what they are doing. Otherwise it's not used at all, or used to trash talk.

    I'm surprised no one has mentioned the fact that lacking voice comms has resulted in a rather unique culture in the DBD playerbase that is kinda special. If only selfishly, I think losing that would be pretty sad.

    A temporary proxy chat would be fun to mess around with but I actually wouldn't want it introduced even temporarily, as it could result in a lot of calls to make it permanent which I wouldn't want.
