Also i have to mention but why survivors are having literally autopilot perks? like sprint burst, vigil, lithe, fast track( i know its getting changed), botany knowledge, resurgence, unbreakable, decisive strike? Those perks should have a condition in order to activate to be earned. Shoulder the burden isN"t as badly designed as those mentioned perks, but i think for shoulder the burden at the very least the exposed should be for longer like 60 seconds maybe it could have something more this is the very least. Also random question. Does plot twist still work with conviction?

well most of them yes but not sprint burst, botany and vigil you got the effects for free without doing anything.

Sprint burst requires you to manage your exhaustion or walk everywhere which requires gimping speed to get to your objectives.

Botany and Vigil are both passive effects and are arguably don't do what they do strong enough to warrant an activation condition. Alternatively their condition is that they need something to affect (botany is useless against plague after all)

I seen this yesterday and agree more or less with the points, except the last one of disabling the DC penalty for SWF. I don't know how he thought that was a good idea. That would allow 4x SWFs to DC to get easy killers without penalty.

Well you can use sprint burst practicly whenever you want cause you get it by walking or by just sitting on a generator which is just a free escape button, free faster healing for free like why? And vigil just deletes all status effects for free also like why? its a 4v1 game

i can see what you mean but i personally don"t know what exactly to do in order to kinda fix it and also make it fair for those with acsessibillity issues.

Players with connectivity issues won't always be in a swf. More than likely playing solo due to aforementioned connectivity issues. Even if they are playing in a swf does that only mean for 4x swf or does 2x 3x also count? Because 2x 3x still cause other player grief when they give up.

I think is the point a lot of the content creators are trying to point out.

They’re trying to call attention to ignorance and educate players who just dc first learn never. Or even worse they play badly due to lack of knowledge and get hatch or carried by their actual good teammates and somehow make it out.

I think more people (especially survivors) should look past these thumbnails and angry twitter/reddit comments and just sit back and learn. Because as of right now the thing running this game into the ground isn’t ‘sweating bully squads’ or ‘toxic killers’ it’s those shirtless/bikini wearing survivors who dc the minute, no second, something goes slightly wrong instead of adapting, complain, then come back the next update to drop 20$ and rinse repeat.

I don’t know where this comes from that the balance is at all favored at killers.

Slowdown perks are the weakest they’ve been in years.

Many top tiers are getting/have been nerfed Ex. Blight (next patch), krasue, ghoul, spirit, nurse (she’s her on a technicality going from SSS to S doesn’t mean much in the grand scheme)
with a couple exceptions of killers either getting side grades or left to simmer a bit Ex. Drac (his power getting shifted between his 3 forms multiple times a year) vecna 2 (I’m kinda surprised he hasn’t been nerfed yet honestly)

skull merchant was killed off for over a year at the demand of survivors (some think she should get deleted and axed from the game entirely). Houndmaster is still bugged as hell and still nothing on knotted rope, twins is twins, they tried to gut knight and alien. Chucky lost scamper(only for bhvr to make then nerf krasue and ghoul seriously bhvr what did you think would happen) and now is only viable on pc where 180 flicks are doable

and then we switch roles, healing speeds have only gotten faster with more healing options than ever (soon to be dialed back with diminishing returns). Anti-tunnel is as strong as ever with new babysitter and basekit bt being buffed. Anti slug is better than ever (barring old ftp/buckle up) with conviction/wglf/plot twist/unbreakable. Gen speeds are outta control with hyper focus/stake out, fast track, BnP’s. Exhaustion perks are as free as ever with buffed vigil, chases are easier with more pallets and power crept window being added. And on and on and on.

anything the killer role has gotten to be strong has either been mutually beneficial for everyone or are exceptions not the rule. I mean we’ve proven god can bleed with the blight nerfs, so now anything is on the table for killers in the nerf department.

And you know what I’ll even side with survivors here, if nerfing blight/nurse/ghoul into the ground gets us balanced and strong perks, and buffs to B- below killers, I’ll take it as this point.

It's undeniable. Nerfs/buffs are always inconsistent and unreliable with how often they propose things, cancel them, scale them back, do something for a few months, and then delete it forever. But the Killer slant is undeniable. Camping/tunneling/slugging is easily in the top 3 biggest issues with the game. At their core, they are catchup mechanics that work all trial. They are a major concern when it comes to player autonomy and they quickly bottleneck the trial. Nothing truly effective has been done to counter that. At best we get timers that only offset how quickly they happen, a forfeit mechanic, and perks with a ton of conditions that only do so much (and aren't base kit like camping/tunneling/slugging). Additionally, we have the kill rates. The game is, by design, balanced so that Killers win the majority of the their trials. Granted that number is an average, but it means that the majority of Killers are likely winning 40-70% of their trials. For Survivor, that number is lower. The majority are winning 30-50% of the time. That's objectively in favor of Killer and is effective every trial. Finally, we have supplemental factors of that balance. The majority of new Killers, especially if they're licensed, go through a period of time where they're incredibly powerful and dominate trials with ease. Survivor perks generally have a lot of outrage, but don't perform even remotely the same. New maps are typically full of terrible loops that require pre-dropping to have any effect, having an obviously negative impact on chases. Entire metas like stealth, and for a long time healing, have shifted in favor of Killer.

That's not to say that Killers are at fault—regardless of how loud someone is, it's up to BHVR to make the healthiest choices for the game. Not just in terms of game balance, but overall enjoyment. In my opinion, the most consistent thing about the game has been their inability to do either.
