GHOUL NERF WHEN BHVR?
Let's talk about the elephant in the room.
When will Ghoul be nerfed? Not that pathetic nerf that adds nothing to the game, but a real nerf? Do you realize how much new players suffer?
I only play solo Q.
What do I see in games? Out of my 10 games, 2-3 are Ghoul.
Almost every time we start a game against Ghoul, one of my randoms immediately quits the match when they hear or realize who it is. And guaranteed, someone leaves because Ghoul tunnels them, proxy camps them, and slugs them.
Why does this happen? Because you gave Ghoul all the tools to do it.
Why do we have a character in the game who can hook, fly to the other edge of the map, inflict a wound, and then fly back again? Do you understand that this kind of gameplay experience immediately kills new players' desire?
Why do we have a character in the game who roots on the spot when the point of the game is to create distance? Imagine if Legion gave root after every hit...
Why do we have a character in the game who has auto-aim? Imagine if Slinger had auto-aim...
And every time after a game, I see a huge amount of text in the post-game chat about how players were stressed, and yet another P100 Ghoul insults them. And almost every Ghoul. So tell me, BHVR, can we see enjoyable games against Ghoul, especially for NEW players?
Can you increase the ability's cooldown? Can you reduce the ability's range?
Can you limit the number of jumps in the rage mode?
Can you nerf the bug where he auto-targets behind textures through his aura and inflicts Deep Wound?
And finally, please do something about the bugs after landing, where he can almost immediately hit a survivor with an M1.
Why does his ability block the exit gates when the Animatronic for this needs an ADDON???
After games, I often asked players who the most annoying killer in the game is, and most often the answer is the same: Ghoul.

Well, sadly Ghoul is really fun to play, so it makes sense there are many of them. I expect to see even more of them after Blight nerf…
With his revault I can tolerate few of games against him per session, but the limit is not high.He is definetly by far my pick for most annoying killer to play against, but the issue is kinda difficult to fix.
I don't want him to get Skullied tho, because he is fun to play as, so that's good start.Targeting his mobility is probably not good option, because that's kinda main thing why his is fun to play as and goal should be trying to keep that while making him more bearable to play against.
I think removing his mending could help a lot. The mechanic if he will bite or not can simply be tied to the enrage timer on survivor instead.
They can trade it for revert on his range or something. Maybe increase speed on his last jump.
That would need to be tested, but also increase enrage timer duration to offset the fact that decay will start immediately.-1 -
I actually full on stopped playing Ghoul after I got three Ghouls in a row as survivor. It feels so uninteractive from the survivor side, and for the first time ever I legitimately feel bad inflicting that on the people I'm playing against. I think he's a fun killer to play, the movement is nice, but the way he interacts with survivors feels so boring.
I agree that the mobility is the thing Ghoul should get to keep, slingshotting around the map is really fun.
If anything, I want to see them try making Ghoul's power work a bit like nemesis' whip. First hit applies the debuff, then the next damages. Only difference is I'd keep Ghoul needing m1 to down.
I would say there definitely are more annoying killers, but they're nowhere near as common as Ghoul, or as strong.

the first bite and the range it has and the animation lock need looked at to make him feel better to go against. If he had to land near you and not hit you through objects it'd be fine.

Ghoul was a killer i wanted to play a lot of, but i never liked his playstyle and found myself as a Dracula main instead, but Ghoul is hands down a nightmare to play against, and i thank you for your act of kindness

They already kinda did that? If you break a Pallet you go on cooldown. Also the range was shortened in one of the first patches for him.

Outside of Rage he has two, in rage only one more. why should i even enrage when theres nothing for me yet where the vaulting is trash?

You mean the power canceling? thats not a bug…

It blocks but ff you stay at the blocked gate ghoul has no chance picking u up in time. But Animatronic can with the Add-On literally grab you, Ghoul can't. Just run/crawl against the blocked gate and you'll be fine
He got nerfed plenty of times, even recently where his vault got useless cause you just vault back and he has to watch you do it…
