My Proposed Vigil Nerf

I have two proposed changes

Option 1: Vigil no longer lets you recover from Exhaustion faster.

Option 2: Vigil now works on ALL Status Effects which will now include Haste, Endurance and Incapacitated. A 3 second Sprint Burts will now only last (3÷1.66=1.807) and Off the Hook Endurance will now only be (15÷1.66=9.036)

    honestly, sounds like it would be a trade off, but then again no one would use it if that was how it was because getting 1. 807 sprint burst time would be useless, honestly they should just nerf spring burst by 0.5

    Either of these definitely need to happen imo. Vigil is an extremely unhealthy perk, and it was honestly fine before it got buffed.

    Although I do not like Vigil in its current state and have said many times I think it needs to be changed, removing exhaustion altogether would remove the primary reason for its use so I don't think that's a good idea. The main changes I would want to see are just a reduction in the numbers to be closer to what it used to be (ie. 40% recovery and 10 meter range for example) and removal of killer power hinder being affected (especially for Freddy), I think that's all it needs really. But it absolutely still needs to affect exhaustion, that's the most popular effect that it's used for. It's just that having that + all the other effects at such a high recovery value is overkill imo.

    Both of your suggestions would miss the mark: even without the exhaustion recovery, it would still weak but also a lot of perks, addons, and other stuff. Nerfing haste and endurance as a downside is also rather unhealthy or would do nothing - e.g. some exhaustion perks like SB or Lithe need its own nerf and not an indirectly nerf. But most importantly, it would make tunnelling easier due to less endurance by your own perk which is a bit awkward. Thus, the endurance timer after unhook needs to be back to 10 seconds anyway.

    However, the perk needs a nerf since it counters 30 perks, over 70 addons, and weakens Clown's as well as Freddy' powers while making already strong perks in exhaustion perks as well as Shoulder the Burden stronger - all that for free. On top of it, it gives teammates a temporary fifth perk. That is just unhealthy.

    In my opinion there are two options:

    1. Turn Vigil into a boon perk and keep all the positives. Still strong but no longer free and unlimited for how strong it is.
    2. Revert it back to its stats before the buff. The old version was fine considering the fact you got it for free.

    In both cases, the perk should not reduce the power of Clown and Freddy or any other killer and it's insane that this hasn't been fixed for almost a year when the devs always try to not make a perk work with killer power (e.g. Unbound got a fix to not work with Legion's or Wesker's vault ability).

    It needs to be reverted to 30% like before. Nothing else in my opinion.

    Vigil change I'd like:

    → removal of exposed

    → Removal of exhaustion

    Buff Vigil to 75 %

    So now Vigil only works to debuffs - blindness, hindred, mangled and hemmorage. Giving 100 % reduction. Meaning that you will recover from debuffs super quick and it will be it's main purpose.
