Progress Bar Arrows

I hate hate hate the arrows that are now on the progress bars. I’ve never been more…annoyed by something flickering in my peripheral in this game before. Does anyone like them?

is it even easier to understand the system now?

Haven’t really read updates/patch notes recently and.. i think i haven’t figured out the new system yet..

Basically the way it works now is the progress bar color will change depending on the total action speed of all survivors doing the interaction, rather than only your own action speed as before. So working on a gen together with another survivor now will result in a yellow bar (as the total speed between both of you would be 1.7) rather than it being red like before (since your individual speed would be 0.85).

yeah i get that part, which is easier to understand i guess. But it is also leaving out the Info that there is still some penalty as well? And what do the arrows mean and the movement mean?

The arrows will change speed depending on the progress bar color, so when yellow for example the arrows move faster. It's kinda unnecessary imo

ah. That makes sense and kinda carries the info of extra penalty when multiple survs work together on a gen.
…but. Its really not that intuitive and just adds visual clutter in the end.. hoping for a toggle here as well, or even better a revert

    Don´t like it either.

These are strangely distracting and confusing.

Toggle to turn them off would be nice.

If not toggleable i would prefer the arrows removed.

(But sadly… like rarities and my NEXT and Previous buttons to cycle through your chars never came back :-( ..)

I agree, it feels very "Good Job, you're doin great sweetie" on the level of Mobile games, it's extremely patronizing and distracting. It just hand-holds new players so they don't have to think, DbD is better than this.

I don't mind it, it's just a different aesthetic to me, I do appreciate that the bar is yellow when multiple survivors work together now.

UI/UX team on their way to make an unnecessary visual change to justify their existence.

I absolutely hate it. It bugs the ######### out of my eyes I have seizures too so it can actually be very triggering. I’m glad I’m not the only one here who dislikes it. I made a report to them about it.

I have to literally train my eyes not to look at it. I have seizures so it could possibly trigger them for me if I wasn’t on medication. If they want to keep it they at least need to make it an option to be able to turn off.

I’m glad it’s not just me either. I don’t care if they keep it but it needs to be something that can be turned off. I have seizures and I feel this could be triggering to people with seizures like it bugs my eyes so bad. I have to train myself to not look at it.

Can we make this ugly effect optional please!

Sadly we seem to be in the minority here…
