The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

Why does this keep happening in 2v8? Bodyblock/sandbag cages
Many editions of 2v8 have already come and gone, and we still can't get people out of the cage from the sides, allowing trolls (mostly anonymous) to ruin the game for others.

Always take all the information you have and report them. One less troll is better.

Yet we could have this fixed by making survivors who are nearby NOT slow the anti camp

Yes! An in-game report is mandatory, and the video evidence can be forwarded to Support afterwards.

Can we get a fix to this though because its happening multiple times a day and it could be improved with a system please thanks!

I had this happen to me last 2v8 by a random Steve. Had random teammates waving at him to move but he wouldn't until I reached 2nd state. The other survivors immediately rescued me when he left but by that point the killers had made their way over so it was RIP for me.
I think instead of requiring an anti-camp bar to fill up they should allow the caged survivor to move after 20 seconds to avoid situations like this. Or make cages like hooks where a rescue can happen from multiple sides.

I havent seen anyone for this nerfed and the amonth of evindence you need for devs to take some action even give him few minutes/hours/days ban isnt worth the time.
Unfortunately trols like this exist.

I agree. The reporting process is incredibly time-consuming and in most cases no action is taken anyway. Reporting just isn’t worth the time and effort, sadly.

is it even a reportable offense?
Like.. wasnt it said that griefing has to take place over several instances/matches to Count as griefing? And its also not holding the player hostage as there is an eventual end to their match..
Just asking (not you but generally) if its worth it to report this, if its covered by the actual rules. Not that i think it shouldnt be reportable but i remember that some of these rules were already very questionable..

Targeting and ruining the game for others is part of griefing. I don't see why it wouldn't be reportable.

The last time in the 2v8, I reported it in-game and submitted a ticket with video, and didn't even get a respond... I don't know if it was because the person who did it was anonymous.
But even so, reporting them won't stop people from continuing to do it. Besides, allowing them to be anonymous is like giving them the green light to encourage them to do more of this.

yeah. I would agree.
But BHVR used to say that targetting needs to take place over multiple matches to count as targetting in the first place

The main thing is that they take action.
I admit that I didn't report players outside the game due to a lack of video evidence, and perhaps I'm part of the reason these players are still around. 😅0 -
I think it's fair to say they do take action but experiences can vary. And yeah, it would be helpful to have official confirmation on this.

In my experience, I have had notices that actions were taken on all the times I've reported people. But I agree they need to implement a mechanic to prevent this, whether it be moving the cage when a teammate blocks it like that for, idk, 20-30 seconds, or allow teammates to rescue from the sides instead of only directly in front.
I haven't had this happen to me, but this does make me scared to play 2v8… 😨

Yeah, making it so you can uncage from multiple angles would fix this easily. I don't get why they haven't done it.

Just asking (not you but generally) if its worth it to report this, if its covered by the actual rules. At first I thought, obviously this is against the rules as @Anniehere mentions about griefing, but BHVR does seem to be incredibly vague about ever confirming a rules issue.
I suspect a trolling survivor could argue that they thought keeping the survivor in the cage to get the extra gen progress was worth it, or if most survivors were dead and they were playing for hatch, and that might fall under BHVR's 'we don't want to tell people how to play the game standard'. But generally blocking other survivors is seen as a rules violation.
I'd still report them, but yeah its always an unknown if they actually do anything.
