2v8 Escapist
I would really love to know, how many more iterations are required to finally nerf the sprint burst on button? Ten? Hundred? Infinite amount?

Its strong but I don't think it needs a nerf.

It's previous version of just a normal sprint burst was already strong but balanced, current one is a swiss knife of glorious utility due to how many scenarios in can be used in
Getting caught by a stealth killer, or in an open field, or making a mistake in positioning, or baiting lunge, or pre running, or map traversal, or greeding, in all these scenarios sprint burst on demand is so much more powerful than a regular one due to simply having complete control over when it's used

If they intend to keep it, it should not have an AOE or only affect 1-2 others not EVERYONE.

m1 killers are unplayable thanks to this ability, it's like dh in that it can be used on react to a lunge and also gives you a bunch of distance whilst healthy, the endurance duration is super low and can be regained with a couple of pallet camps

my first night playing, every match but one I had one survivor with sprint burst follow me the whole game and use their power any time id get close to somebody.
I can feel a hunger gnawing at me...I yearn for the ghoul to be added to 2v8 if I have to endure any more of this

Ghoul! No….no…no…just no lol.

sprint burst takes a toll on a person
it was bad enough I was in a Henry phase and had to deal with sprint burst/Lithe+vigil+Finesse every match and here I am being haunted by this yet again, feeling completely discouraged to play any non mobility killer. any time I play PH I'm reminded why I don't bother to preserve my sanity.

Yeah, 2v8 focus is currently on fun of survivors, I doubt SB will ever get nerfed unless queue times change.

Sprint Burst isn't so bad when you play with the other killer and cut them off, but it's designed for those kinds of situations.
Otherwise there wouldn't be many options when killers decide to work together, games would become really one-sided0 -
the problem i feel is that that's simply not the meta. playing with the other killer is a losing plan unless you so happen to be nearby.
the 2 killers kinda have to be playing independent matches in order to exert the maximum amount of pressure. if i had all the time in the world to chase, I wouldn't mind.
when I play rpd for example I stress to my friends to never come to "my" side

You say that but is that really META? We aren't able to queue up quickly and often to say that, 2 good killers ending chases quickly and piling on pressure together is a nightmare to deal with.
I'm having success playing together with my friends, so, I wouldn't say it isn't uneffective at all. I feel it's definately worse to rely on a friend who isn't very good at communicating/is still newish to killer, that's for sure.
Plus playing solo really denies you the benefits of the killer classes, maybe that's why people are struggling so much. There is no shame asking for help from a friend, some of these map tiles are crazy.0 -
It really is though. I'm not saying killers should never help their partners… but if they so happen to need the help and you go over to help, depending on where you both are you're probably losing at least 2 gens if not more in exchange for that hook state.

I'll agree it's situational, but you can end chases instantly with 2 killers sometimes you get people trying to save said person and the other killer is there to help punish it. Lightbearer/palletsaves can get out of hand quickly when playing solo also.
Usually I split off in the late game (coz I find its easier to since less gens), but I prefer to stay nearby just incase, especially as like Huntress where I can easily deliver follow up hits from range. If Survs get one half of the map done then it makes the late game harder for them.
I Just find it easier to work together. And on the topic of team strats for solo Q, I hate Oni's design, being his housekeeper picking up his slugs is really boring.0 -
I can't agree it was designed for 2v1 chases in mind, because if both killers work together against 1 survivor, nothing will help that 1 survivor, no sprint burst on demand no Uber safe pallet
If anything, needing the other killer to deal with escapist effectively really only proves that escapist is not balanced. And even if escapist was nerfed/reverted, it wouldn't suddenly make killer working together a no risk strategy, since that's still 2 killers chasing a single survivor out of 8
