Add Houndmaster to 2v8
She would be a great teammate; she can use her tracking power to find survivors with Killer Instinct and mark them with Houndsense, which inflicts Deep Wound if they are hit by you or a teammate.
Survivors can't hide easily because Houndsense marks them in red. Your teammates can follow the trail to gain speed or even tag-team a survivor if they are snared by the dog. (I don't know what her buffs should be in 2v8, any ideas?)

I find it odd that you say the 2v8 killers are buffed when they're really just balanced. For example, Wesker has three dashes, but they're short. Chucky can charge, but only at a certain speed... And in general, each killer has their pros and cons due to balance.
And since everything you said is out of balance, then you're missing it. This is the difference between devs and us: they have to think about how to balance a killer playing with another killer against 8 survivors, not just throw them in randomly, leave them the same, and make them overpowered.
This was the problem with Legion in this mode; they didn't know how to balance it, and it became so powerful that it was always used, which was boring and frustrating. They didn't know how to balance it, and they had to remove it.

I would love houndmaster for 2v8.
Fun to play, fun to play against (has similar counterplay to Wesker and we all know how much survivors glaze him), and like you said would be a great teammate.
Unfortunately houndmaster is so incredibly buggy as is putting her in 2v8 might just cause a black hole, in addition to that because of bhvr’s killer criteria for 2v8 she’s unlikely to be added to 2v8 anytime soon because she isn’t very popular.

So true she is incredibly buggy, but the synergies with other killers would be soooo gooood, she can send her dog to search a gen, and your teamate can follow the line getting speed, and survivors getting hit with houndsense, and killer instinct. You are right, she may never apear in 2v8, because she is unpopular 🥲

I don’t know how survivors don’t find her fun, it’s literally the same counterplay as wesker except it’s more exploitable with pallets and corners

Most survivors I play with and have spoken to haven't really said this…To each their own but she still would be an easy add for 2v8. Just her and her doggy :D

She is not that hard to vs, stay on a pallet, or hug corners. I rather her then plague being added to the 2v8

I'm being a bit sarcastic, but really that requirement of "both side must find the killer fun" really makes it hard to add most killers to 2v8 as there is a significant portion of the vocal playerbase that will find any killer they aren't able to escape against on a majority basis as unfun. Just look at how often you get DCs on first down.

Im a hound master simp so id lover her to be in 2v8 but boy i have a feeling adding her would cause the entire game to implode and wipe all the data from your pc with how buggy her dog is lol
