whos your killer main and why?
i know someone has already done this, but im generally curious, who do you, people of the forums, main on killer and why do you main them?
im a Skull Merchant main because i found her power simple to use and her gameplay felt rewarding to me, ive been trying to learn Sadako as well😎

My OG main is Spirit.
My current main for a while has been Krasue, just love her design I find her to be so fun to play as, currently p88 with her!

How is the Krasue playstyle? i find her a fun killer to use and extremely underrated. I never got the hang of playing Spirit honestly

Sadako because she comes from my favourite horror franchise and they did such a good job with the thematics of the Sadako Rising Chapter.

I love Unknown, using stealth builds and jumpscaring people is always fun
in 2v8 I main Huntress rn, having so many targets to throw things at is just so much fun, win or lose.1 -
best username ive ever seen on this website. Onryo mains are my fav people in DBD so i highly respect that
1 -
Unknown? i love that, ive only gone against one though.

They are rare, I love playing against them too. The whole analogue horror marketing for them etc really pulled me in, I also feel its one of the most unique aesthetically unlicensed killers.
1 -
i feel they are one of the best designed original killers imo, i also love their blighted skin. they seem fun to play as

Freddy and Pig. I just enjoy them lol fun is what it comes down to for me
1 -
i love pig players, they are really funny to play against

my og main was trapper because at the time my pc ran the game at 15-20fps and being able to catch people in traps was easier than hitting people at times lol

I came to dbd as a Resident Evil fan and spent about my first 6 months playing Wesker exclusively, pretty much treating it as a pvp extension of Mercenaries mode. I've branched out a lot since then, spent some time with Dredge and Plague in particular, but rarely hard mained anyone.
I've been maining Henry since he came out, and got him to p100 pretty fast. I wasn't even going to buy him at first but, after playing a few matches against him, I loved the audio design so much that I went all in. He'll probably overtake Wesker in hours eventually.

Lich. Got him to p47 but i still got alot to learn playing as him, i've seen the techs you can do with him. I've only got the touch the window with your hitbox using iri book tech down so far.

i got the first but then just could not play him, i found him boring

I find him super satisfying, more than any other killer iI've played. The dopamine hit I get when a prediction shot through an obstacle hits is unbeatable. It's interesting what mixed feelings people have in regards to playing him.

i will agree its satisfying when i hit my vine attacks, i just find it hard especially against sprint burst users who hold w all game. i do love his design and voice lines dont get me wrong, i just struggle with the power

I play the whole roster evenly but my first 3 100 killers were Xenomorph, Dracula, Skull Merchant.
Aliens / Predator has been my #1 favorite franchise of all time since i was a kid and i've always been fascinated with the xenomorph, its life cycle / biology etc. And the whole concept of the corrupt Weyland Yutani corporation and Androids that seem 95% human, with dark empty lifeless space -futuristic theme. As for its gameplay I was alredy used to playing all the Aliens vs Predator games and got used to the tail strike pretty quickly. It ended up being my most played killer and went through the mmr a bit too quickly.
Dracula was from another favorite franchise and i'm glad they went with that version of him. I played through every single castlevania game from start to finnish, over 24 games. (he was the only possitive part of the castlevania chapter for me as the survivor end of things was a total nightmare. My favorites being Shanoa and Simon Belmont ended up as just cosplays) compared to xeno he never feels helpless unless hes against absolute looping gods, which ive seen only one or 2 times as him. I see many just stick to wolf form or prefer vampire form most of the game but his strength definitely comes from quick adaptation of switching forms constantly at certain times. Ive managed to get used to that and he feels easier to use than xeno.
And Skull merchant i really liked her character design and is my only p100 original character (from both sides). I got all her cosmetics and was really enjoying her stealth aspects, ignoring all the hate when she first started. I still found i was pretty decent with her on/off stealth for a while until the recent berf which made her stealth activation much more tedious. But primary reason i got into playing her was she was the first hot female killer lol.

Don't really have mains anymore as I play random killer/survivor with random builds.
Still if I have to say my favorites are Deathslinger, Twins, Artist, Knight and Houndmaster not in any particular order. This still does not mean I am not good with the others but I do enjoy playing these guys more than the others.
Deathslinger: Mainly because I have played tactical shooters a lot so my aim is not bad and it translates well to his gameplay.
Twins: I liked them from release and did not care about the bugs that much. Still like their gameplay loop.
Artist: I like sniping people with the crows.
Knight: Just like the power of how versatile it is and how well you can keep at least two survivors occupied or use them to pincer the survivors
Houndmaster: I like concept of her power and it has enough difficulty to be interesting and its nice when you pull off some nice pathing with the doggo.

Demo is my boooii.
Was a huge fan of it as a monster in stranger things, a unique and fresh idea for a monster, not just another tired trope. The idea of playing one in dbd was the thing that originally piqued my interest in playing the game.
Unfortunately I was a bit late to the party as I decides to start playing after dbd lost the licence for the stranger things content and it unavailable in the store.
I did some research and found out the physical nightmare edition of the game for xbox had the stranger things content preloaded and as long as it was played on that disk I could play as demo, nancy and steve. I then got involved in a bidding war with someone on ebay for a copy, i won and ended up paying £70 for a copy.
Then I was ready. I fired it up and my first demo game is a very vivid dbd memory for me. Macmillan estate shelter Woods back when it just had a big tree. I had an absolute blast stalking the survivors through the woods, portaling around, leaping from the bushes to shred my unsuspecting victims. It culminated in a 4k with me finishing off a leon who'd been flashlighting me all game.
To this day demo is is still my absolute favourite killer, his basekit suits my tactical stealth ambush playstyle and imo it's in a great place balance wise, not the strongest killer, but in the right hands an absolute menace. Sits in that great middle ground where he's a challenge to play against but not an auto loss for survs. Finally got round to the p100 grind and 75% of the way through.

My historical top 3 are Legion, Myers and Trapper (but Legion is number 1 by a long way with a 43% pick rate).
I just enjoy the simplicity of Legion's power. Running around, vaulting windows and pallets and chaining frenzy hits is a joy to me. They're very versatile with the perks you can run on them, I like that they have info built into their power (which is their biggest strength, imo) and they can be played seriously or more casually. I don't play Legion as much as I used to but I always return to them. They're my comfort Killer, I guess.
Trapper is a fun Killer for when I want to play a bit more strategically. I like to discover clever places to put down traps.
Then there's Chucky, who I play exclusively for a laugh with a silly meme build (Myers used to be this Killer for me but I don't enjoy him anymore after his recent rework).
And Billy, who I play if I feel like giving myself more of a challenge trying to pull off an impressive curve or two (but mostly I just bump into every little thing on the map).
I also play ranged Killers a surprising amount despite being absolutely terrible with all of them (Huntress/Trickster/Slinger). I would main these Killers but I'm not enough of a masochist.

Currently cenobite BUT it wil be Frank Stone once he arrives

I just thought of a new nickname for henry : The Circle Jerk.
Though i do enjoy playing as him too lol

Good question. Honestly I don't think I have a main at the moment, I'm normally maining for a while what I find fun at that moment. At last I would remember trickster after his rework - if we go after prestige levels it would be huntress first, blight second and trickster third I believe.
Sadly I'm really really rusty with huntress even tho she's fun :D

I main Leatherface since Summer 2019. I started to main him just because of his "image". He also makes funny noises. A bit weird reason to main a Killer, but it was back in 2019 where nobody was sweating.

Doctor.
I don´t know anymore why. I like his blast and finding survs with it. But i also play in a fun way most of the time.
Used to play Wraith but not so often anymore.
I also still enjoy Trapper. Maybe because i started on PS4. All shooting killers were a bit difficult there.
Sometimes Knight and Deathslinger, shooting is fun on PC.

Despite what my name says I'm a Singularity main.
1 -
Mine is legion because of his oppressive basekit and double iri addon that amplifies it further.
0 -
Never gone against a Singularity, though the killer looks cool

My main has always been Freddy, ever since I first started playing DBD, all the way back in 2018!
I also played quite a bit of Skull Merchant, but Freddy will always be my favorite.

Pig. Mostly because of boop the snoot! Plus I like sneaking around.
1 -
everytime i try to boop i get absolutely assaulted by a pig and tunneled off hook

i rotate killers alot so no main per se but if i had to choose it would be between hound master and clown.
Hound master is to me the most satisfying to play and with my hex builds having my dog eat every surv on the map is very fun.
Clown for whatever reason is my best performing killer but im not super sure why. I NEVER use his haste bottles either, only the toxins. i find the antidote bottles to be completely pointless and too risky for potentially speeding up the survivor as well.
purple bottles all day every day.
trapper used to be my main but these days his traps feel useless and your likely to only get 1 or 2 traps a game with them on the other side of the map from you and you lose so much time trying to grab traps in useless locations that as appealing as trap killers are, the current speed of the game doesnt support their existence these days.
1 -
no piss bottle clown? but still i love playing Clown and really wanna buy Houndmaster

i definitely recommend her. the dog is buggy and that will be frustrating but largely it works fine and its really useful to corral survivors or to see if its even worth heading over to the other side of a map for a gen and it almost always pushes people off the gen when they are on one. her voicelines are really good too
