Killers could really use a Spring Cleaning 🧹
I’d really love to see killers get a bit more love and attention in a future update (pretty please).
The last update just didn’t feel like it had enough bandwidth dedicated to proper killer balance and power adjustments like a lot of us were hoping for after the livestream.
A lot of killers, especially the really outdated or buggy ones, are kind of getting left behind. Houndmaster is a good example: her power is super fun, but it’s also really janky and buggy at times, and it feels like it never quite gets the attention it needs. There are other killers in the same boat where bugs with their powers go untouched for multiple patches.
I’d love to see a patch (or series of patches) that’s heavily focused on:
- Cleaning up killer power bugs
- Reworking or modernizing some of the oldest, clunkiest killers
- Making sure new killers actually get follow‑up balance passes instead of one light touch and then not much after that.
Killer can already be pretty intense, trying to manage everything in a trial between chases, downs, hooks, protecting gens, and checking on totems. When you add bugs and outdated kits on top of that, it just doesn’t feel great.
I am just a bit concerned that there’s so much to update with killers that things are starting to feel more and more behind over time.
This is why a killer‑focused “spring cleaning” patch would go a long way. ❤️

If I had a nickel for every time that I played killer and lost a kill due to a simply absurd bug, I would be swimming in them. Straight up, there are way too many issues with killer, that's not to say there aren't issues with survivor but we do need another big "spring-cleaning" patch.

I get it. So many times I would have gotten a hit, down or hook had it not been some janky stuff for no reason.

reminds me when i had 3 kills in a match as Twins and i saw the 4th person, but it suddenly decided not to let victor charge his pounce and i watched helplessly as he opens the gate, kicks victor and escapes.
