Another Undocumented Survivor Nerf - Lockers
Survivors can no longer locker tech! BHVR added yet another hidden action cooldown timer where once you fast vault into a locker, you need to arbitrarily wait 3 seconds before you can hop out! Removing skill expression for no reason when the survivor experience is already miserable, GREAT JOB TEAM! (sarcasm in case you couldn't tell)
Genuinely who is approving these changes or does the team literally have 0 idea when they ruin mechanics for players?

This is weird because it's just a weird gimmick that occasionally makes the killer swing, literally nothing else. Why would they put resources into changing this?

In all seriousness, is it actually 3 seconds, because I fast vaulted into & out of a locker earlier today & it definitely didn't take 3 seconds to do it.

It's like 1.5.. maybe 2. But still an unnecessary change.

Hopefully it is a bug, because there is really no reason to get rid of one of the few "techs" in the game which isn't an exploit or unintended feature.

hopefully when this gets fixed they can take another look at grabs and hits getting revoked.
Lately I’ve been getting so grabs cancelled into an automatic M1 that of course misses and gives the survivor free distant, it’s mostly a problem at pallets with endurance, healthy survivors on gens, and of course survivors in lockers where you’ll just smack the locker or if you don’t M1 you have to spam the check locker button 5 times before the server registers it.

This is long time problem, worst thing is when vaulting survivor puts you into grab but he vaults and nothing happens there for you like you dont get that grab that got cancled and not event m1 because it forced grab and before it counted that it wont give you grab that survivor is gone out of m1 range.
I dont think this will get fixed tbh but I would say its worse than before especialy grab on gens like that second or two wasted in grab animation where it still cancels it and m1 you could have 1/3 or 2/3 of that m1 cooldown behind you and this thing is crucial when gen is almost done because that few seconds can make huge difference. This happens to me a lot especialy in 2v8.
To locker issue, must be a bug because there was no change like that in notes.

If that was the "issue" then there were better and more elegant ways to fix it.

C'mon dude is this really the concern?
I find locker hopping obnoxious as killer but this change was unneeded and there are absolutely valid plays a survivor can make with it, especially against Mori killers and the dreaded Nurse. Really don't need to be removing even the most niche counterplays to her.
I suspect this was unintended. They probably moved a bush two feet to the right on coldwind and broke lockers somehow. Every change they make is like moving an image in Microsoft Word.8 -
Hey there! Thanks for flagging this. Would you be able to report this on BetaHub (including your player logs and/or video if you're able)? That way, the team can look into this.
Essentially, if anything ever feels out of the ordinary and it hasn't been mentioned in patch notes, don't hesitate to flag it on BetaHub. That's the most direct way to get it in front of the team to investigate and determine whether there might be a bug at play.

I acknowledge this is probably a bug and going to be fixed but it did have the nice side effect of removing the uncounterable locker saves being back. Because people slow come out of the locker so you either grab them. (Which doesnt give you the flashlight invincibility as normal pulling them out) or you have to back up and swing and down them normally but that forces you to slug them to chase after another survivor which creates a similar problem that locker flashlight invincibility intended to solve. Could we see the flashlight invincibility extend to pulling survivors out of the exit locker or slow enter locker prompts as well? Dont have a problem with backing up and smacking them to down them as its still the better move anyway but it seems weird you can still be flashlighted out of a locker when the whole intention was to remove that. Thanks!

Ah, interesting, i always wondered why it felt like sometimes i didn't get immunity from being blinded while pulling survivors out of lockers. THAT feels like something that should be fixed.

Yeah I notice it its been gone for some time but thankfully I havent met team that abuse that yet after they nerf it.

How do you report input delay or action delay like this? Because it's hard to show in clips/screenshots, do you have a suggested way to do that for you and the dev team?

I'm happier more than anyone that the unstoppable locker saves are gone but I don't think we need to press the issue any further imo bhvr "solved" it but now you just have to remember to not get baited which i think is fair.

The whole intention was to remove the invincible situation. You couldnt do anything against old locker saves. The slow exiting is just something like the cj tech. The survivor is not invincible. If you dont fall for the trick, its the same like a normal down. So there is no need to remove it.

Yeah for sure. Its just frustrating, thank god I was able to get the down fast lol. There have been times though where that happens and I get robbed. Pisses me off. lol.

Good because I just picked her up. You shouldnt be able to dodge a power by just hopping into a locker. If you go in a locker you should be forced to commit
