Buff to Infectious Fright
Survivors who are within a range of 32/36/40 meters of the Killer will yell and reveal their location for 6 seconds (at all tiers) instead of yelling within the Killer's terror radius.

The numbers would probably have to be tweaked there, 50 meters is the better part of an entire map. It could definitely work that way, although you would lose any potential to combine it with perks like distressing or add-ons like the doctor's which increase your terror radius.

The doctor’s terror radius add ons lower your terror radius in punishment mode, though ._.
honestly a static distance would definitely be preferable since it can be used on more killers than it currently can, unless the point of the perk is to only be useable on killers with larger terror radii to keep it off small tr killers.

Still bad. They need to make it a few seconds of aura, not a location ping. A location ping is just trash.

i misremembering what infectious fright does? Because 6 seconds of aura reading was in the perks ability.
was that changed and I missed the patch? (Now the description says location but it used to say aura and I remember during the ptb it revealing auras)

Originally, it was intended to show auras. But it was changed to location for the PTB, and the description was unintentionally left unchanged.

What if the location ping "Pulsed" every second or so for X amount of seconds. This way its not just a blatant "THERE HE IS" aura but rather a sonar like system that can still have a little mindgame about it?
Honestly I don't care for this perk myself but I do find aura perks just boring on both sides.

It should return to aura reading. But not with 5 seconds. Make 3 seconds.

Can you buff Dark Devotion, 20 seconds of no terror is not enough time to find another survivor and sneak up on someone. Besides Monitor&Abuse & Tinkerer, There aren't many ways for a killer to modify their terror radius. 20 seconds is too short to take advantage of the effect. If it was like 40 second, Maybe you'd be able to get a sneak attack on someone, but as it is right now, I doubt anyone can use the perk effectively.
