What Killer mains grab your respect the most?
Hey People of the forums, i had a curious little assesment and wanted to know what mains do you respect the most? either they main a killer thats rather hard to use, or weak in general, or they are just usally fun to play against?

Skull Merchant and Freddy Mains. They have gone through so much. Honorable Mentions, Twins and Houndmaster since they have had to deal with A LOT of game breaking issues with their powers on a consistent basis.

As a Skully main, im gonna admit i didnt go through any of the nerfs or what not that happened, im newer to the game and Picked her up thinking her power was interesting, and after a few good matches with lots of kills, and some dcs for some reason, i learnt she was like the weakest killer. i did not care lol

That's how I have felt with Onyro. When I first got the game. I was told "She is the weakest killer. She has no chase power bro dont play her"
I didn't care. She's from my favorite horror films. P100 and proud. I just wish she was in a better place than she is.

most respected would be Blight mains who play on the Switch if they even exist because he's so hard to play on switch with the fps drops and performance issues
as for most fun to play against I still like the chainsaw only Billy mains

i respect any main who plays the rarer killers. you could forget half the killers in the game existed if you didnt have one legend playing them in the 1 out of 100 matches you play

probably huntress . She requires quite a bit of finesse tp play well and is just a classic killer at this point . I see her as more of the dbd mascot then even trapper honestly .

I have very bad memeories with Huntress Mains, they usally end up being very cocky and toxic, im sure its not all of them, i just dont like the killer that much

Definitely Skull Merchant mains. Behavior intentionally nerfed her into obscurity and has seemingly forgot that they planned to rework her afterwards.
Honorable mention to Sadako mains too. She's gone through so many changes and is so difficult to play compared to how strong she is.

Mostly the ones that play killer who is made to loose even when the player doesnt make mistakes like weaker killers trapper,merchant,ghostface etc. or killers that are hard like billy,blight.
Kinda respect the rare ones too like hag mains, have been two years since I faced my last hag, or twins, artist.

Billy and Deathslinger. Both skill based with good counterplay and a lot of room for skill expression. And you can't really do gimmicky, cheese stuff on them like some killer powers allow for.

Billy mains for sure.
I use to say that he has the highest skill ceiling in the game, as you can easily tell a good billy from a bad one, and he is a well-balanced killer today, with solid counterplay.
Billy mains also had to go through a long time of the Overheatpocalype, that lasted a solid 3 years, with their killer being almost rendered useless.Hats of to all of the OG Billy mains

Quite a few actually.
Currently Singularity mains, though. If I come against one that perfectly locks down key pressure points to a point where they feel like they are always spawning on your head, I know I'm up against the biggest of brains.1 -
Billy. Going against a skilled billy is a pleasent experience. I also commend their willpower for sticking with him through that terrible overheat rework.

It's generally very rare that killers grab my respect since almost all of them play in a way or possess a power that makes the match absolutely miserable for a Solo Q survivor such as myself. (Such as Sadako's Hit and Run, teleport to every tv and then tunnel out the survivor who's reached max condemned)
However, the few killers that DO gain my respect beyond the basic necessities of not being toxic, BMING or making the match itself an absolute hell on earth just to play. (Ahem, Max-Slow down/Thanaphobia, No heal Legions.) They are—
- Billies
- Bubbas.
- Huntress.
- Blights. (I used to hate him when he first released but now I find myself wishing face more of him then the tokyo mid anime character.)
- Wesker
- Lich
- Springtrap.
- Henry (I LOVE facing off against him and genuinely respect people for getting use to his skill curve because he's not braindead easy and therefore, most people avoid him. Also biased towards stranger things.)
So, 8 out of the 42 (Soon to be 43 Killers.)
Everyone else either sits on Neutral "I can handle playing against you for a bit" list or "I'd literally rather have a 72 hour DC penality then play against this killer again", dislike list.0 -
it basically takes AI level computation power to play Cenobite and Unknown at full power.
nobody can truly play these killers at 100%. sure, any half decent pinhead should be spawn grabbing the box approximately 100% of the time but doing that for every box would require you to have the brain power equivalent of having franklins+ Weave evenly applied across the entire map.
unknown requires you to personally lick every surface at every angle on every level to earn base proficiency with UVX and how many people do you know do that? most people do not dive very deep into uvx logic mastery. it's just too much to consider for a window lasting a couple seconds on a particular corner of a map that you may never go to

Horrible as they are to face, I respect blight mains, not an easy killer to master.
I always respect anyone who mains weak or high skill ceiling killers. Twins, Skully, freddy, trapper etc

I have to say its the Killer mains who i respect is Nurse Mains.
Please this is my opinion. I find Nurse the hardest to play in the game and if I find a very good Nurse who isn't toxic and super chill. I can't play Nurse to save my life, I broke a controller playing her for a week straight. (Yes from raging)

I get lots of AFKs too. They just refuse to play.

Hag mains that do more than trap basement 10 times over
Twins and Houndmaster mains sticking through all the bugs
Slinger and Unknown mains with good aim
Lich mains who understand all 4 abilities
Ceno mains that have mastered spawn logic
Singularity mains
Onryo mains
Actual Spirit mains that stuck with her after they toned her down

I usally main Skully, so Blight has been a change of pace lol, more fast paced, but sometimes i lag so badly i dont even know if i hit a wall mid rush

Id say xeno and skully mains. Not a lot of people want to play xeno as iconic as it is due to its counter. And skull merchant, even i can barely bring myself to play her today at p100
Lastly Trapper mains, who dont rely on camping basements. Its pretty tough to consistently play trapper in todays meta and not feel discouraged enough to switch to something else.

As a Twins main I love facing them and playing them. They're the rarest killer in the game that at this point I think I still get the prompt in the loading screen telling me I'm facing a Twins. They honestly have fun counterplay and are so satisfying to playing optimally. Placing Charlotte in the right place, using Victor on the correct surv, learning his distance to properly jump pallets/windows, learning Victor orbitals, etc. They have a lot of skill that you could learn that I just find them so fun to play. They can also be super punishing to play when you go against those teams that know how to dodge Victor and are just healing the entire game. I love them so much.

Absolutely Unknown and Slinger mains, occasionally springtraps that are really good with the axe. Nothing else makes me just stand there as a survivor and go "that was hella cool, take the down just for that" like a snipe from a cracked unknown or slinger.

Freddy because he's rare and my main.
Setting aside my Freddy bias, I respect the so called "Low Tier Killers" that play past midnight into 6:00AM. I always get a Ghost Face and Pinhead at those hours.
I had my usual 5AM Pinhead match yesterday and took this screenshot especially for my friend @100PercentBPMain because I always think of him when I Face my early morning Cenobite…
Massive respect to players who play who they want, irrespective of subjective tier lists (Trapper, Hag, Skull Merchant, Ghost Face).
Massive respect if they are P100 or a high Prestige as it's clear they are determined to play and invest in their Killer no matter what.

I get a little scared seeing an Onryo in the wild, since I don't encounter her often enough to get used to the match up, and their mains tend to be running odd builds I can never guess until the results screen in my experience.
She's one of the harder killers to play, so I both respect and fear whenever a good Sadako with Reiko's Watch disappears.

Been trying out nurse myself recently, since they added the collector skin. She's not the hardest killer to play, but she's definitely up there.
Once you're familiar with survivor pathing she gets a lot easier as you can predict where people will go more easily. My advice is play aura builds. Gearhead and I'm All Ears are both excellent perks for her.
Gearhead lets you figure out what gens are being worked and set up insta grab blinks. (very satisfying) and I'm All Ears allows for easy hits after survs vault and think they've broken LoS.

Chainsaw only billy (im a p100 one i never use the hammer) lol. Freddy,sadakos,houndmasters because we've all suffered to shoddy design choices yet continued to treck through.

Huntress, it's just a increadible amount of training you need to get braindead good with her. At the same time I feel like she's so increadible punishing or rather demotivating if you just miss every shot in a bad string of matches.

Hag, Trapper, Bubba, Houndmaster. Weak or riddled with bugs main them and earn my respect! Bubba might be neither but I just love anyone who plays Bubba!

Anyone who mains any Killer and plays on the OG Switch. That's the real hardcore Killer challenge right there. I only play Trapper on Switch (if I play Killer at all) because I know that's the only way I'm gonna be downing and hooking my Survivors over there.
Also shout out to all my fellow members of the unpopular Killer main crew. All the Legion, Skull Merchant, Ghoul and Trickster etc mains out there, I know some of you guys have probably had to put up with more than your fair share of BM over the years (both in game and in the end game chat). We don't get no respect from the community. No respect at all.
Also, Deathslingers that can do those crazy trick shots shooting through the tiniest of gaps.

Vecna2 was one of the best additions to this game lately. He even has a part of a easy counterplay by just holding W if the portal mobility is in cooldown.
To me he is one of the most fun killers to go against and its very sad that people aren't playing him as much as i wanted.
