I played only when he first came out a long time ago and he was good because people didn't know his counter play now that i played him again he feels very much like cannon fodder and seems very lack luster compared to how he was i wanna know how you guys play him or have opinions on him like how he should be played or a rework idea for how he can be better compared to most killers in the new DLCS

I played him for a little while, but once I started facing decent survivors on a consistent basis, he became non-viable. It’s just too easy to bait/dodge his power and he has no mobility. I enjoy going against P-Head as survivor because he’s pretty easy to counter if you know what you’re doing.

he's ok i think he was designed for a different era of dbd. he has no mobility and more perks than ever before reveal the killers aura.

old Pyramid Head was powerful before he got arthritis because he could fake his power at 0 risk to himself now he has to play 50/50s which if you're gonna do that you'd be better served by Xenomorph since at least they have passive slowdown by forcing survivors to do turrets

still though , Pyramid Head and Unknown truly are the "potential" killers that theoretically could end games in seconds.

Thats because just like henry you need to aim to place where will survivor be but the power travels very slow so its easy to react to anc flicks on him work only on 120 fps and are inconsistent a lot.

He is very hard killer who falls to prerunning and holding W.

Its not like he's weak, its still m2 killer so already better than whole m1 cast.

    1. he's probably one of the hardest killers in the game, in some loops you will have to hit before actually seeing window/pallet, you need to know usual map layouts. Ans if you like that kind of gameplay springtrap/dracula/ST Vecna are just better.

    2. Way too slow, way too punished for missing m2. He used to have good tunneling potential, still does have more than most killers(maybe wesker is a bit better now), but his cages now have basekit BT.

Basically he's just way more effort than most killers with less results.

Pretty much this he is hard and counter isnt hard just hold W and keep distance as survivor and you are fine.

He's my favorite killer. I usually run perks that help with chase. I like to take advantage of the fact you do not need to waste time hooking and dealing with flashlights and pallets; that being said I avoid perks that have anything to do with hooking. If I'm taken to a loop I leave a trail in the middle of it during the chase to force survivor to get marked. His M2 takes practice, but makes him one of the best antiloopers in the game aside from Nurse.

He still is a master of the "zone and bone" strategy, making survivors rotate into unsafe pallets/loops or getting hit by a lucky prediction shot. He's incredibly potent at proxy camping, as if the survivor going for unhook gets caught, they get put into an almost guaranteed lose-lose. Go for the unhook anyway and get both you and the unhooked survivor hit by his ability while in animation lock, or try to run away and loop nearby in hopes your teammate can unhook them before you get hit or downed yourself.

Overall he's certainly weak in the movement department, but his snowball potential is only beat by the likes of killers like Oni, Plague, or maybe Bubba. Nurse's Calling is especially powerful for this purpose, as even if you don't hit the healing survivors, the pressure you can get by survivors having to respect the distance of your M2 makes you a constant threat.

Yh he is a bit outdated. He's basically a weaker shorter range version of henry. Right foen to the mini mori.

Same perkbuilds will help him. Aura read plus undetectable is a nasty combo on him, lets you shoot survs through walls. Real nasty on high loops, main buildings and maps like lerys. Even without aura read you can take potshots at gens.

Honestly I'm not sure why they gave him the cages, it is very on theme and does save the time and risk of hooking, but it's weak overall and makes survs super easy to unhook as there's usually someone on the other side of the map to pyramid head.

Pyramid Head main here at the moment ive found the best thing you can do with him is if you can hit your shots consistently without aura reading, start running a build like this Iridescent Seal and Rust-Coloured Egg along with 4 slowdown of your choosing I personally like corrupt + secret project ect. Then you hold a three gen hook survivors edge map and snipe people with your increased range and stealth

If you aren't running iri seal or stealth perks run mindbreaker or other reliable exhaustion such as Scarlet Egg + Mannequin Foot I do not recommend using full aura reading because 1: You'll get gen rushed and 2: it makes it harder to learn his power since you don't have to think about predictions

You NEED to be extremely patient with his power and hold it for ages until you are guaranteed to get the hit or until you know exactly where the survivor is going either that or just be the master of zoning. His power is requires you to have pretty decent map knowledge all around.

Also against survivors who try to stun you in your power you can activate your power as soon as you get stunned and they will take damage

Reminder that cages spawn on the exact opposite side of the map and if that happens to be away from your current hooked survivor you can guarantee second drop stage on one of them or a trade and tunnel them out of the game with your two tap.
