BHVR, hun, i beg of you buff Skull Merchant, im good as her but i just cant compete with most survivors anymore, I have mained Skully ever since i got this game and ive enjoyed insane amounts of success on her, but lately ive been in a downfall, all survivors are chase gods and they smash the hell out of gens. maybe ive become a horrible killer now

Been left for dead in a ditch ever since her gutting years ago and I highly doubt the devs are ever gonna touch her again considering it takes them years to make any big changes.

Nerfing her stealth by removing undectable from drone deploy was the final nail in the coffin unfortunately

I love the killer but honestly i would like to improve my talents elsewhere, ive learnt a lot for playing without relying on a power, and i even go perkless sometimes on here. ive learnt the basics on here. generally i might head to another killer and play them, ive lost motivation, ill see

If they just revert her last round of nerfs she would be fine. She was fine then, if anything still a little undertuned but definitely near the lower half of the middle. The only nerfed her because people still had PTSD over chess merchant and just gave up against her every time.

I feel like that would be great but also keep the undetectable on recall as it adds more to her kit and making it harder for survivors to know you're coming/leaving chase

They seem to have intentionally kneecapped her to keep it from being a discussion point until they "fix" her, which will probably be in like 2032. I don't see them just reverting her, as that would be tantamount to admitted that they messed up.
I would move on until they address her properly.2 -

They are reworking her since what 2024 or what year and there is till trapper rework on the way now after tricksters (well should be) and after him then merchant rework should happen but with speed of reworks here Im starting to believe her will be in 2027 tbh.
I believe her rework has been like 1,5-2 years ago in some patch notes.
Unless they revert her to her second stage (the version that was nerfed into current one) the buffs wont save her but good rework realy will but Im sure they have no idea what they should do with her.

We were explicitly told she would get her rework the following year after her nerfs, so they felt it was okay to gut her to nothing and a lot of people begrudgingly accepted that. I never did and have been screaming from the rooftops about it since the start.
The year came and went with nothing but 2 failed previews, followed by an assortment of laughably insulting "buffs," and no rework in sight. So either:
a) They lied, or
b) They are incompetent
Both of which are, quite honestly, unacceptable at this point. They need to give her a complete and total reversion to how she was previously until they ACTUALLY have a rework to present.
And for the love of god DO NOT LISTEN TO PIXEL BUSH!! His love of Merchant is commendable; his ideas to rework her are terrible.

Some players somehow still thinks she is broken.
I had a skull merchant match today and someone dced right off the bat as soon as she started chasing them like they stuck in 2023 or something.1 -
As far as I remember, she's never actually getting fixed. They don't want people to play her.
