Love Jason, needs nerfs
love his kit and play style however my index finger is sore holding down crouch for 3 minutes because no one wants to interact while he’s in his power. Can we get a time limit of how long he can be in omnipresent? 30s or something? He’d still be able to travel map wide, some games are held hostage by this and it’s boring
also the add on where he breaks gens is crazy op

Gen breaking add-on makes you hit the regression limit super fast its not really that insane in the long run

Lol, seriously if you are hitting that limit you've already won. Like seriously what is the argument here? "So what if survivors have to fix the equivalent of ten generators? Jason is totally balanced guys."

Jason being Omnipresent is no difference than Wraith being cloaked. There's no reason to limit how long he can be in his power.
We do not need to push unnecessary nerfs on to killers for survivors refusing to interact with the game.

The sheriff's badge ain't OP, it allows to hit the regression cap soonish since one cannot control when does he apply regression as much.
The only nerf I think would make him perfect is the removal of the post-jumpscare haste. Has no need to be there, is not earned and can give free hits. Have him be a 4.4 killer whenever he is out of Omnipresent and that's it.
No reason to limit omnipresent further, it's worse wraith cloaking. If people decide to crouch, that's on them. But survivors need to compensate crouching and advancing gens. And it can be done with a minimal planning and coordination as long as everyone is on the same page. You can use his detection limits to force him into a chase that does not interest him, for instance, by keeping the survivor he needs to find the most shrouded and exposing those he would loose time with if he engaged in chase.

The add-on breaking gens is strong imo, not op.
But to address the elephant of the post, the issue there is stated with what you said. You, and all other survivors, wanted to hide for 3 minutes rather than continuing the game and taking chase. Had one of you taken chase the rest would be free to hop on gens risk free, alas, you didnt. You instead wasted time.
For reference, this could happen with any other killer if you ran a stealth build and avoided gens, touching chests/totems to remove/stop birds and hiding in lockers. The only difference is Jason allows you there to essentially choose who takes the chase, whereas the others are down to who he see's first.
I understand, you don't want to be the first seen/aren't that confident in chase/ playing a gen build with 0 chase perks/ any other valid reason as to why you wouldnt want to be seen, but if you just choose to permanently hide rather than take chases this could happen in literally any other game.

it's thrill of the hunt hex builds which are abysmal against him I find.

Jason isn't op and doesn't need nerfs, if people are hiding then that's on them for not playing the game properly, the whole game for survivors is running, looping, and doing generators. If no one is doing anything Jason will keep patrolling gens until someone takes chase, that's how he was created to be. Jason is an entirely skill check based killer on both sides. The Deputy Badge add-on isn't even OP because it gets up to the regression limit very quickly. If it was the old Deputy Badge before it was reworked you survivors would whine and complain even more because it's an add-on version of Hivemind that he gets permanently. At least with current Deputy Badge he actually has to find what generator people are on and doesn't immediately know where everyone is the whole match.

Jason is fine & is balanced perfectly, Nothing is wrong with him.
This is the one sided whining tribalism that needs to go already.
Because of this Krasue got destroyed, Bearly seen now due to some not all survivors. Not wanting to learn her counter play.
Now you’re complaining about Jason, Even tho he’s been out barely a day.
Every time now on day one a new killer comes out, This bad habit needs to stop with the one sided narrative. It’s bad for community & over all games health !
Stop it already, He’s been out a day & you’re complaining.
It shows your true intentions,
Play both sides learn & adapt have fun in the fog !
This is coming from a player, Who does play both sides & has been activity playing since 2019.
Just stop with one sided narrative, Jason hasn’t even been out for 2 months to even get more data on him.
Personally he’s an A- at best.
Happy 10th anniversary all!
