New Item : Bandage
A Bandage found in a First Aid Kit which can patch you up on the fly.
Can be used to heal other Survivors:
- Increased Altruistic Healing speed of +20%
- Increased Mending speed by 50%
Unlocks the Self-Heal action:
- Reduced Personal Healing speed of -50 %.
The Bandage has a 3 uses.

im not sure a plus 20% (is this separate to the medkit or an addon for it) healing boost addon with 3 uses is balanced enough. as a standalone item, i dont know the numbers and math on healing but it doesnt sound to be worth running over a medkit. am i misunderstanding?

It seems to be a better medkit since it gives 3 self heals rather than 1-2

but a medkit is only a 33% reduction. you already shouldnt be self healing very often because its time inefficient and you are likely hurting your team by doing so, encouraging people to double their time and more often doesnt sound good to me. just run self care if you want to spend a bunch of time in the match achieving nothing which is what the issue this looks like it would generate if people use this for self healing reasons.

Depends on the killer, but most of the time adding an extra 45-60s to chase is typically pretty worth it.

well you arent actually adding that much time back on as you have to deduct the both the additional healing time (8 additional seconds with a medkit and 16 seconds using this item) as well as no movement or gen progression or assistance to the rest of your team. therefore the time gain you have by having an additional health state is not actually buying you 60 seconds if that health state lasts a 60 second chase, which isnt wehats going to happen the vast majority of the time. a health state should be gitting hit with 10-20 seconds in order to maintain enough pressure.

I do have a rework for it. Maybe it heals as same as old self-care at 50% and has 30 second cooldown between usage. In exchange, it is unaffected by Healing Penalities or Reduces healing penalties.
