Tell Killers a 3K is a Win
On the post-match screen. Make it identical to the message for a 4K and not ambiguous.
Something like "You Won!" or "You are Victorious!" and not Ruthless/Merciless Killer.
The only reason I suggest this is because I believe it would improve match experiences by having less killers choose to slug for the 4K, which is just a not fun scenario. This certainly wouldn't solve the problem (people still need to 4K for adept achievements), but it would help and it is just changing a couple lines on the post-match screen.
I also think this could be an isolated change and leave the rest of the post-match screen as is. It doesn't need to be "balanced" with telling killers they lost if they get 0-1K, draw at 2K or require any changes to the survivors' post-match screen.

If you want killers to slug less for 4Ks, then you need to make changes around hatch which is the reason slugging for the 4K exists.

I disagree. Some killers play under the assumption that they haven't won unless they kill everyone because the game doesn't tell them they won. This suggested change would help with that.
As far as the game itself, you're right nothing changes except a few words. But I think it would have an effect on player behaviours. The effect might be small, but it would be positive. Just because it might not change your behaviour doesn't mean it wouldn't change someone else's.
I don't understand why people are against this and are downvoting it. Seriously what would be the downside to implementing this?

You are playing the role of the killer. Most people are going to try to kill all 4 survivors not just aim for a 3K. It doesn't matter if BHVR states that a 3K is a win. People will still play to kill all 4. The only way to actually fix the issue you are identifying is to change the game so that the reason killers slug for the 4K. That reason is how hatch currently functions.

You are speaking as if you speak for all/most players when you don't. Some players will see the game telling them they won at 3K and change their playing patterns and some won't. It is certain to have an effect.
As I have already said I suggest this to slightly improve the situation and that it never was a fix.
Whatever they're deleting the forum next month anyway so what's the point?

People told killer players an infinte of times certain things and nothing changed. Theyre just too biased to have ALL survivors killed no matter why and how. It doesnt matter to them if 3 is enough or not.

You are assuming it would have absolutely no change whatsoever.
But still would it have a negative effect on the game if they made this change?
If there is no negative effect to the change, why not try it?

I never said I am against it, but if instead of making trivial changes (even though they already do them on their own) they could do something useful instead.
