Add a Gifting/Trading Feature in game please.

I’ve been wanting to gift friends. Can we please get an IN game gifting feature for cosmetics, auric cells, maybe even blood points. I think dead by daylight is a little behind on the updates compared to other games. If we can gift people stuff on other games, why can’t we do the same on dead by daylight? The game has been out for 10yrs. Make it to where gifts are NON refundable, maybe even do a 5 gifts per day limit.


What I mean by gifting cosmetics,

Able to gift survivors/killers/rifts/ maybe even licensed characters/cosmetics. (obviously not the ones that are no longer available to buy in game. Like Michael and Hellraiser. I meant the current ones that are available. If we can’t do licensed characters, then maybe yall can do original characters like Kate, Ace, vittorio, etc.

as for the Trading, what I mean by that is:


trade items like flashlights, medkits, offerings. NOT with other players but more like trading your items for bloodpoints. I’m tired of having 600 some hatch offerings and not able to get rid of them all at once. I would like to trade those in for bloodpoints. There’s alot of offerings and items I don’t want. It would be nice to trade this.

If the gifting and trading idea is a bad, can I please get a summary of why adding those 2 features would be a bad thing? So I can understand myself.

    a gifting Feature has been planned and confirmed already, they were aiming at early 2026 Release but current plan is early 2027

    Everything that is bought with auric cells, whether that's cosmetics, characters, the rift, etc, should all be giftable without limits. Either way BHVR gets the money, adding a limit would only limit the amount of money they would make and inflict a dumb restriction on users.

    I doubt we'll get any kind of gifting for grindable things since that would mean less money for BHVR, but simply having the opportunity to gift like 500 Iri shards and 100k bp to one person per week would be nice to see. It would encourage both players to repeatedly get on while also helping a little bit with the grind of the game.
