The Judgement Aura Fix

As The Judgement Aura debate has been going on, we've been hearing multiple suggestions.

Fix 1: (Rejected)
With one of the ones coming up the most is making The Judgement not see Auras while holding her power.

Although this might seem great on paper, you might forget that for many actions, people will be doing an action for an extended amount of time, so The Judgement could still easily wait a bit and snipe to those locations after the aura is gone to get the hit.

Now the question is, should we even want to block The Judgement's aura? One of the most amazing thing about The Judgement is, that it's one of the few killers that actually have the build diversity to be able to run aura builds as a non-meme build, unlike other killers who often run pain-res meta. I personally think we should embrace this uniqueness, as it would be unsensible to create aura perks, yet destroy any killer that actually has a use for them.

Now I of course als acknowledge that it is deeply unfun to randomly get sniped by the Judgement out of nowhere. Though blocking her aura is not the way.

Fix 2: (Rejected)
Another frequent proposal is to let survivors know whenever The Judgement sees your aura, similar to how it is in 2v8. This would of course help a lot with a lot of random snipes, especially healing in random locations, but one things that this doesn't fix is the random snipes to generators. Because The Judgement can still use game-sense or hell, even certain generator aura perks, to shoot at locations that other survivors are on, still creating those unfun random hits on gens that no survivor enjoys.

So although a great idea, it doesn't address all the scenarios.

Fix 3: NEW
So how to we make those long ranged shots fairer and add more counterplay is really the underlying question.

One of the ideas I had was to create a built in "spine-chill" like effect for The Judgement whenever she is holding her power, meaning that, when she is charging her power, all survivors in the direction of her view within a 90 degree cone see a status effect on the called "Judgement", knowing her power is being charged in their direction, even on indoor maps.

This means that, for closer ranged shots, typically in her terror radius, she can still flick shots without informing survivors prior, but for those long ranged shots, she will at least have to charge those powers in their direction, thus letting those survivors know there is reason to engage in counterplay.

This simple change helps survivors know that some long range shot is coming in their direction, if they see The Judgement effect icon for an extended amount of time, allowing them to reasonably do the objectives when things are safe, and encouraging them to engage in counterplay when they are not.

The effect could also be visual around the borders of the screen, and grow the more exactly she is looking into your direction and for how long, as to help estimate the likelyhood it is going to be fired into your direction.

What you y'all think? What do you believe to be the exact problem around long-ranged gameplay and what are the best strategies to address those and make it more interactable? ❤️

I generally see the ability hard to balance out like that, either survivors know they are being aimed at, which gives Judgment an even harder time than she has already with aiming, or survivors don't know, which makes it "unfair" on their side again.
Overall aura reading could just be limited to 32-40 meters because of her range ability. She can still snipe generators at will and maybe get someone. Or if we talk about the aura of generators, they could disappear out of range and only light up for a second every 10 seconds. The being aimed at alert I could imagine if the line is straight. So she aims straight at a gen, instead of doing one of her angled shots, which are way harder to aim with. Like Judgment looks straight towards a gen and her beam is in that line of sight.
