Plague Needs Some Serious Changes
So, I will be the first to agree that Plague is a bit weak, however she really needs a nerf in some areas, one of them being the Corrupt Purge.
To start off, the Corrupt Purge needs a nerf. About 20-15% of (the maximum output of) Corrupt Purge should injure survivors. You can't seriously expect survivors to always have obstructed vision in a chase, it just doesn't happen. Take Coldwind Farm for example, a map full of corn, which Plague can usually see over due to her height, and has few obstacles to stop survivors from being hit. Plague only has to have a drop of her Corrupt Purge hit you, effectively removing the skillcap of accuracy.
There is no real counterplay to Corrupt Purge, as she is naturally faster than you and when you have to throw a pallet down, she only has to charge to about 20%, which is about a half second, before she injures or downs you. You can't even juke Plague, which isn't fair when she has practically an instant down.
As a compensation, Vile Purge and Corrupt Purge should have movement buffs when holding vomit to be 105% through the process. It would allow Plague to be able to still chase people and get closer with the Purges without being reliant on range and turning into Leatherface. Having the speed at 105% also would prevent her from traversing the map while holding Purge, so it would be a nice mix.
Also, it would benefit my eardrums greatly to have Corrupt Purge notifications not yell repeatedly. And before someone says, "Just play stealthy," just keep in mind that objectives exist.
Overall, accuracy as the Plague should be rewarded more to add a skillcap and provide counterplay while also having a decent QoL change to her Chase potential.

I agree. I hate playing against The Plague. It's stupid that the only counterplay is to be sick and easier to track, as well as instadown, just to deny her power. Even then, you have three others in the trial who could very well cleanse willy nilly and feed her.
Only other thing is that I don't think her addons for Vile Purge effectiveness should stack. Being able to make someone broken in less than two seconds without a movement speed burst doesn't feel fair at all. Unpopular opinion, I know, but I greatly dislike The Plague in general.

I think Corrupt Purge shouldn't be a ranged damaging attack, that's Huntress' territory.
Instead, just make it Vile Purge on steroids.
- Double infection gain rate
- Double infection time on objects
- Survivors can become infected with Corrupt Plague that Hinders them until cleansed
- Corrupt Plague takes twice as long to cleanse
Just some ideas. But yeah, nobody cleanses sickness right now because Corrupt Purge is overpowered. So it needs to be toned down, but still feel threatening.

Ok, a few things.
First, I've played far more AS Plague than against her.
Corrupt Purge is a timed buff like T3 Evil within, with a similar frequency and potential to get downs. It comes with several downsides already:
- To even get it, a survivor has just got a free instaheal and removed sickness, your impact on the match has to be lowered to have it as an option.
- It requires moving around the map to go get the buff, alerts survivors that you just got the buff, and then you have to move around the map to find a survivor while they are most likely hiding as much as they can. It's very time sensitive and can waste a lot of time if you don't immediately find someone to down.
- Her base power is very slow to get a down already, she often gets you to maximum sickness which takes a few pukes if you're actually good at breaking LOS in a chase, which is usually around the same time wasted as a basic M1 killer.
If you were to nerf corrupt purge, I would say you'd also need to nerf fountains giving an instaheal to compensate.
If anything, I'd prefer to see her lose a few "+duration on corrupt purge" add ons, and in turn receive more crippling debuff add ons for her power in general. (ie, lowered repair speed while at maximum) You can't nerf the only downside to removing her debuffs without some form of compensation.
Even then, her power just becomes so survivor favoured if removing the sickness only risks a "slight" buff if you can still loop her to ######### through corrupt.
