Why did you reduce Legion Vault speed?
I watched someone play PTB legion, and they vaults so slow now that breaking pallets is more efficient than vaulting them

I doubt they even know

Because there were people still defending the legion nerfs and saying that he actually could be good so they had to do more to make sure nobody would play him.

@KillermainBTWm8 Possibly survivors

Yup, that's exactly my point on the thread I made about my thoughts, and after playing legion more it's worse than I initially thought.
2 -
Does that mean we can now pallet loop legions during their Feral Frenzy?
That sounds brilliant, well done devs!

Yup you can loop them during it if they frenzy with how much ground survivors gain from it, even wraith feels like a better killer to land first hits now and doesn't get shut down by locker like legion

They gave legion 115% movement speed, and then removed the advantage they had in pursuing survivors by slowing the vault speed, frenzy speed, and increasing their cooldown by 1 second. Current Legion has none of these nerfs and can pursue a single target relentlessly. The devs probably wanted to make it so that Legion players would be more about spreading the deep wounds around to the whole team instead of being able to effectively pursue one survivor at a time, but the problem with that is it makes them ineffective at downing survivors at all, especially since Deep Wounds status is 0 threat to survivors now. So instead of playing the way the Devs intended, Legion players are adopting the chase and cancel method:
Bring cooldown add-on's, Start frenzy, Stab 1 survivor, continue frenzy until you head off the survivor, cancel frenzy, continue chase outside of frenzy to finish them off.
In other words, In order to be effective, the Legion is now a tunnel only killer which is the opposite of what the devs were going for. The devs must have thought that slowing their ability to pursue would dissuade Legion players from this tactic because they are easier to juke, but instead it only makes it more vital to their success because its so much harder to do, and their deep wound status is useless, so why even bother spreading it around?
Overall, these nerfs are too excessive and while they add more counter-play options to Legion, they also make Legion even MORE single target obsessive than before. Well done devs.

We lowered the FF speed from 5.28m/s to 5.00m/s. From what I can understand, the animation isn't adjusted yet, that's why it feels like it's even slower than it was before.

It's still a bad change, it renders the vaulting completly useless, if it could help you get a first hit i would understand, but it doesn't, not anymore that is.

They really want to make him unplayable. Thats the only thing I can think about. Why else should they nerf him into the ground? Or they really have no clue about their own game. I think this possibility is even higher.

I don't think that's the case, and instead believe that Legion is just a very difficult killer to balance. You nerf a little and he becomes useless, you buff a little and he becomes OP. The way I see it, they are knocking down the whole jenga tower, and waiting for responses to help them rebuild it from the ground up 1 block at a time until its stable. So the excessive nerfs came with a re-building plan that they are planning to take one step at a time based on community feedback. Unfortunately this is a pretty vindictive community, and taking this plan of attack against a problematic character in the game has many fuming in response. As a standard M1 killer, Legion has that going for them now since they can almost keep up with the others, but right now their power is practically meaningless, and the feedback is reflecting that. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I mean the Vault

Not_Queen just said that they haven't adjusted it, so it could be fixed in the live version
0 -
We don't wanna this to be adjusted, but reverted to the live version.
4 -
Yeah that's what she basically said, at least I understand it this way.

@not_Queen You have it in the patch notes that it is nerfed so it isnt only the animation and i hope to god that you know this or just miss understood since othewise that just means that the team asks everyone of the changes.
0 -
It's in the patch-notes so it's an intended nerf, not something that isn't "ajusted".
We just want that change to be reverted, it makes vaulting pointless and weaken Legion for using his own power.

The slower vault was intended. The animation needs tweaking because it makes it feel a lot slower than it really is.
Vault speed changes for Legion was part of the feedback we brought back to the Designers.

Are the designers even play this game? Not to be rude. Vault isn't and wasn't the problem. Only the deep wound status effect.
2 -
And they still really see a problem in the vault speed? Okaaay...
1 -
More likely they got constant complaints that legion was immune to looping because they can vault, but they can't just remove Legion's identity in vaulting, so they just nerfed it.
2 -
This is pretty much all I'm getting from it also. Legion isn't exactly a killer like all the rest of the killers anyways. Their advantage was to be able to nullify looping to an extent.
It's clear these devs just nerfed him in EVERY facet of the game. Seriously, tell me WHAT'S GOOD about this from a killer perspective. All I'm seeing is 115%. Ok, but how does that help in a Chase? Even Billy can be looped to hell.
