Buff We're gonna live forever

WGLF is itself a dead perk slot. The idea of it being dead is that it does nothing in game to help you. While the buff to blood points is nice, BBQ and chilly does the same thing and gets a passive ability of getting to see survivors with it. For the buff there are many ways it could go, since the perk gains stacks there could be a way to heal faster per stack. Another idea is to counter counter the hook cycle of saving a guy then going down and being placed on the hook yourself. This could be done with a effect similar to the old borrowed time were you the savior would the also get the now titled Deep wounds effect. This way if you ran both borrowed time and WGLF it would greater punish camping. I would add a timer similar to borrowed time were after a unhook you had a 25 secs where if you would be put into dying state you get deep wounds instead. I simply want a perk for survivors where i do not go in with a disadvantage just to get BP, otherwise ill just play killer.

I mean a personal Bt would just be ridiculous. Something I see MANY people suggest is to see the aura of the killer after an unhook, its a reverse BBQ

WGLF is just meant to give you a bonus for being the person doing the unhooks and bodyblocking. It is made so that the higher risk play style that saw for David King was rewarded in turn with extra bp. The only thing they did was give people what they asked for. They took nothing away and gave nothing extra.

It was getting called We're Gonna Farm Forever for a reason. People wanted players who were running this to have to actually use their brain when going for the unhook. Instead of just pulling someone down off the hook only to get them downed and rehooked for points. Why should you get anything punitive towards the killer who has nothing to do with that perk interaction?

The perk itself is getting changed to have to have a safe unhook, but if someone was to farm they could just get any killer with bbq. Im also not saying that it should be that, i simply thought it was a good use for how the perk already interacts. The argument that it doesnt take away is not correct. It doesnt help you complete an objective, survive, or rescue; it has no effect on game at all.

It should just show Killer aura if they are near the hook, like a reverse BBQ. Just like people have been saying.

It could be a survivor's BBQ, revealing the aura of the killer to the survivor that unhooked. Then, you'd know whether it's safe or not to stay and heal.

You guys don't seem to understandthat making it reverse BBQ would be underwhelming. Why? Because a survivor seeing the killers aura for a few short seconds is not as helpful as a killer seeing survivors for a few short seconds. One gives a major advantage, one doesn't. I like the BT idea and hope the devs look at iinto that idea.

I feel like WGLF does need a passive but I personally don't think that the aura reveal would be a way to go since a killer wont be able to counter it like survivors can and it defeats the purpose of stealth killers. I also feel the bt wglf combo idea would be lil too powerful but it would satisfying since BT people try to block anyway.

I saw this idea on a reddit thread and thought it was a great idea and added some bits of my own to it. What if it revealed your aura to other survivors once you reached 10 20 30m of the hooked survivor so others know your going for the save.

Which is pretty much why I play David King. I honestly would rather not bother with this perk.
