Grind

Could we maybe just upgrade the perks we found in the bloodweb rather than spending 50,000 bp per perk tier?

    Another way to reduce the grind is just to boost the BP amount overall. Made a thread about rework suggestions for the BP offerings.

    I would love to upgrade Perks. Maybe two ways, one time Endurance and the other way more skillful, which is faster, but more difficult.

    So Level 1 Perk will be available in the Bloodweb, for the other Levels you would need to level it up by playing with that Perk.

    The easier way out would be to have more than just 2 perks per bloodweb. There are many perks now and there will be many more, having more perks per bloodweb would reduce the grind a lot.

    @Peanits how about doing what the perk helps with you X amount of times in order to upgrade it? such as completing 3 heal actions with botany, or picking yourself up twice with unbreakable

    The cost could be 5-6k I even would pay 10-20k.

    Why I should fill out the bloodweb?

    For cool add-ons!

    Add-ons can alter the playstyle of killers in a fun and meaningful way and as a survivor I love to have access to more cool items that opens up certain playstyles. Will I play as a medic? Gen-jokey? Saboteur? Flashlight God? Map/treasure hunter/totemcleanser?

    Key for the unexpected hero?

    Experiment with more fog to hide and sneak around.

    If Mori spam becomes an issue just change the prerequisite of Ebony Mori to 2 hooks and you are fine.

    Not having all perks asap just hinders my enjoyment of the game.

    The lack of options without all perks forces me to play a certain way instead of experimenting. Trying out meme builds just to have fun in the game.

    Maximizing BP and farming poor guys would drop, because other things become more viable.

    Having fun as an example.

    I used to like the grind, but now I need 3 million points to get the perks I like and max them. Last weekends event helped, but how many points will I need by the time we get Ellen Ripley (hint/wink)

    @Peanits Because of all the other stuff. If you want to play with addons or offerings you still need to keep going through bloodwebs. This would be a simple way of reducing the grind without altering the bloodpoint economy.

    People would still do bloodwebs for addons items they would still be useful but having the ability to just tier 3 a perk would be better for the game and overall help newer players to the game.

    It scares me how little the devs seam to understand why we love the game and would play it.

    No grinding for perks? Why would everyone use the bloodweb anymore?

    For add-ons and fun games!

    If the devs really think that we just play for the grind and the grind is the only mechanic thats keeping us playing, the game would be terrible!
