Rage Quitters are getting ridiculous.
I just finished 2 games (PS4) playing as killer. First game I played as Piggy, the survivors destroyed me, got all but 1 gen, got cocky and as a result, I was able to down them all in a very short period of time. 3 of the 4 rage quit.
Next game I was playing trapper, one person disarmed a trap I set, I found them and downed them, they rage quit. Second person was their friend I guess because they immediately quit after. Finally, the third person got stuck in one of my traps and rage quit immediately. Last person found hatch and escaped.
I get that the game can be frustrating, but come on...I was playing killers that are arguably middle tier at most (Trapper is my favorite) and I wasn't using any exploits, didn't even have the CHANCE to tunnel so I wasn't doing that, wasn't doing anything #########. I'm just not sure why the hell people got so mad.
Anyone else have multiple games in a row where survivors just RQ because you were playing killer...and trying to kill them?

If we start game with 10.000BP few people will DC. I think is easy for devs

@prayer_survivor That's a stupid as ######### idea. What's stopping survivors from AFK'ing entire games for them easy 10k? It won't stop the problem, it'd degrade the game even further.
Punishment for disconnecting games is needed at this point. Things have gone too far thanks to lack of action from Behavior's side.

Once they add dedicated where survivors peformence isnt dictated by garbage unstable killer internet, then we can talk about DC punishment.

@prayer_survivor I want to agree, but what's stopping people from DCing if they lose a lot of points and can't gain enough to go much past 10k and they feel like blaming it on everybody but themselves? I could be over thinking it though, but it's hard not to when some people in this game get mad over the smallest things and can't accept being unlucky.

Agreed, and hopefully once the dedicated servers are up and implemented into the game they start to think of a good way to (further) discourage rage quitters. I just played a game as survivor where 2 people DC'd in the first few minutes because they were running to hook to save one another and both got downed, just ridiculous.

Another issue is other survivors and bullshit interactions though. I've been unhooked by more survivors just trying to farm me and get me hooked again, I've had people body block me while being chased, etc. Those situations I HAVE ragequit. If people wouldn't do such ######### things like that, I feel like ragequits would happen less, but then again, it's probably the same people doing that who are actually bested by fair playing killers that ragequit in the circumstances you're mentioning.

Enjoy watching unskippable 5 minute long animation, when your survivor/killer with your steam picture on his face gets punished by the entity

Yeah nurse legions who have MS paint internet are a thing in some matches... I don't DC personally because I find glitchy matches funny but every time I think about DCs I remember hooking 2 SWF buddies as a trapper (my perks are literal trash on him), they DC'd on hooks then immediately the other 2 survivors stepped into traps, synchronised. Fastest match I've ever had...I also had one as a myers lately, I was chasing someone else on the opposite end of the map and the survivor was just gone suddenly, I didn't even realise until I hooked the person I was chasing (2 survs trying so hard toxic to realise gens weren't being done and got destroyed bc their teammates were AFK/DC'd) these matches aren't fun for anyone.
People will DC over just about anything now, found first DC, don't like the map/killer DC. It just messes up the entire team and the killer, the amount of matches I've had that go from certain win where everyone could have lived to failure just because people can't be bothered waiting on the hook for 2 seconds or take even 1 hit/chase is astounding...why bother playing the game at this point?
It just seems to keep getting worse, I truly wonder if most people have more than 1-2 games in a row where someone doesn't DC at some point.

Had a game last night actually as pig. Found 3 survivors on the same gen, stood and scared them off while smacking one. Kicked the gen and followed the injured dude who immediately dropped shack pallet while his 2 buddies went back to the gen. I was runnin surveillance so I didnt even bother picking guy up when I downed him a few sec later, just ran back to the gen. After a few butt slaps and a down I went back for first guy who's picked up, then immediately downed. After this the first three yahoos dc one after the other. Find 4th person for him to dc on way to hook. First time getting 4man DC on piggy tho lol

I agree... every 3 match there is a rage quitting team... They should loose 1 rank every time.

Way more issues with these dedicated servers than ever had with killer internet. Not hard to check your ping in the lobby.

I stand by that killer DCing is forfeiting. Even survivors. What I don't understand is why survivors DCing on the way to their 3rd hook. At least leave with your BP.
I can completely understand killer DCing if nearly all the gens have popped and haven't earned squat BP and will likely depip anyway.
DCing is a symptom.
