Yo,

topic says all. This game has alot toxic city. It´s unbeli. how much ppl this game track. In my opininion it doesn´t matter if ppl saying: punish is the wrong way. The point is something must be happend in the future. Survivors putting their internetcable off because they are mad and they can´t take their loss and it doen´t matter if you play fair or not.

Easy fix: if you put your internetcable off, you will still 3 pips loss. Point

This is a good punish for my reason.

by the way: Before someone says anything about my tread. Theese guys do it because they want to cheat and keep their ranks with this tactic. They care about ranks and pips and they never will play this game for fun. This is my opinion

I agree it needs to be punished more heavily. That said, the people DC'ing don't care about pips, so that isn't a punishment for them. I'd prefer an incremental time ban before they can reque for anything. Maybe start it at 15min at least and increase it from there if it happens again within a 24 hour period or so. Even 15min might be too lenient though.

The solution to DCs is not to further punish anyone. In case you didn't know you can leave the game through the menu and lose two pips for doing so. You can dashboard or disconnect by other (cheating) means, but I believe you still lose rank that way as well.

For my fixes I am referring to the option in the menu that allows you to leave a match.

Behaviour needs to remove double rank loss from DC (making smurfing more difficult), and instead give the survivor the rewards for their progress in that match and sacrifice that survivor with the same method as endgame collapse. If they didn't make it to a safety pip they will lose one pip.

When a killer DCs they should get what progress they have put into the match, as should everyone that participated. If they didn't safety pip they lose a pip. If they double pipped they won't avoid it with a disconnect to smurf. When the killer disconnects the survivors should be awarded an escape through the door.

As it stands now, having the survivor be capable of controlling the killers emblem so easily is not fair. Also, having a method to derank so easily is not fair. Finally, giving the killer the control over the survivors survival emblem when the killer DCs is not fair. It should have been setup this way from the beginning.

This would eliminate (mostly) smurfing, hostage taking, and dealing with toxic players of all sorts.

I think they see the punishment from the wrong angle.

Losing pips won´t hurt anyone. It even benefits some.

If someone disconnects a lot, he should lose bloodpoints. Not only the ones he won durin the match, but from his bloodpoint pool.

Alternativly a disconnect could cost Iridiscent shards

How about they lose a perk slot or 2 when they've passed the threshold of allowed DC's? Or no perks at all and incremental time bans. I believe this #DCGate all started when DS got nerfed and the toxic ######### heads are soggy because they can't torture killers with that crazy old perk.

Let them disconect and lose all their blood points and derank. I laugh so hard when a survivor I down disconects :-D

I consider it a PERFECT GAME when I can get all 4 survivors to disconect in the middle of the match. It should be an achievement lol

DC should have a time punishment. To a lot of people, losing a pip can actually be ideal. Means for easier killer/survivors and shorter wait time depending on the rank.

I've said it time and time again.

Create a damn "casual" lobby that puts anyone of any rank together. The server simply grabs the players with the best connection and puts them together. Throw the rank system out the window...because it's not used for matchmaking (or simply hide it for all I care). Let the try hards, who care about rank, play the DC game.

Don't get me wrong, lately I've been listening to people and asking why they DC. Some people tell me it's simply because they don't want o go against Killer X, or they lost 4 or 5 in a row...they keep getting found and tunneled inside of a minute after the game starts. Turns out, there is no single reason for DCs....some people (and yes I've been told this), just love the fact that they are pissing people off (even if they aren't, they believe they are, and that's enough to motivate them to continue doing it).

Rank is NOT the only reason people DC, I get that, but by giving the people who will NOT DC a choice to play with other people who will not DC, the game, at least, has a chance to flourish with casuals who care not about ranks, killers, or games lost. As a survivor, rank up enough, and the variety of killers you go against gets smaller and smaller.

DC enough times in a specific time frame from the "casual lobbies" and lose the option to join the "casual lobby". You STILL get to play the game, but only in hard mode from now on. Shouldn't be that hard to create a new lobby type, basically copy and paste right? I mean, we already have a 2 grouping lobbies (SWF and KWF), just remove the matchmaking aspect.

Yea I was at rank 12 and just one guy dc from the game and I depip to rank 13 but the ranking doesn't bother me I just play for fun:) also how about a punishment that makes em lose perk slots, perks or they get timed banned and lose all blood points?

Personally I would prefer a weekly gamemode queue instead of a casual queue, like Overwatch for example has it, where each week there are new "rules" for that queue only, but your idea is fine too

OP thinks that losing rank is a punishment.

    That’s precious.

Most toxic Survivors want to derank anyway, won't even talk about your spelling and grammar.

Survivors DC because they don't have anymore fun playing a very unbalanced and toxic game.

When I play Billy with a toxic perks build, everybody DC and I would do either if I were them.... Some way to play with killer is totally unfun and unfair and should not be allowed by devs....

    Reasons ive dc'd recently.

    1. Im teleporting around the map.

    2. Killers afk.

    3. Killers working with another survivor.

    4. Killer wants to farm and i dont. Farming is boring unless its double bp.

    5. Im stuck in a tree and cant move.

I think the best solution to this is a timer of x minutes after doing it, people will think twice then. Many decent games have this feature to prevent dc problems like we have.

Dcing does need punished a bit harder but, both sides dc.
