Calm Spirit needs 1 more buff to make it perfect
Calm Spirit should stop the scream from falling and landing. This would make it a good perk to combo with Balanced Landing.
That is all.
EDIT: Also Calm Spirit should prevent crow bombs from triggering on swamp maps.

How often does calm spirit actually make a difference in a match? (except when playing against doctor obviously, but that's also pretty rare)
Still wouldn't be worth taking imo :/

I've been running it and it does indeed make a difference. The fact you don't disturb crows is very underrated. You are basically free to roam about at any speed you want, as long as the killer doesn't physically see you those little bastards won't betray your position anymore. Good killers will see crows fly and then you get found.
It completely screws Doc and to a lesser extent Clown. It can be used to lose the killer when you get hit, particularly in corn and even more particularly against Nurse. You might not completely end the chase, but it can buy you a few extra seconds as a killer has to gain visual on you and can't use sound to track where you ran off to.
Also it hard counters Iron Maiden and Rancor. While those perks aren't used often, when they are it can be difficult to avoid. IM in particular means you can't use lockers to hide rom BBQ, but with Calm Spirit you still can.

I would love this even without BL.

So it's like the audio version of Lightweight? Not completely garbage, but still not meta because good killers don't struggle against it. @thesuicidefox

It works pretty well. I pair it with Iron Will on my Claudette. I run Claudette like a ninja because it’s super easy to hide with her. She makes zero screams, doesn’t alert crows and you won’t have to worry about Doctors AT ALL or to a lesser extent Spirit if you pair it with Iron Will.
It’s not completely useless. However I believe it only works very well if it is paired with Iron Will. I like how I don’t have to ever worry about the killer tracking me by sound unless they have Stridor but let’s be real...who runs Stridor?

in my opinion calm spirit shouldn't be in the game.
it's not a very good perk, I know, but the fact that it stops screams, stops crows flying away.
It hinders the killer from actually finding you.
If they have Spies of the Shadow equipped, the whole perk is useless.

exept that killers dont usually use crows, and they usually find survivors because of scratch marks or just seeing them, so it actually doesnt hinder the killer from finding you at all, besides for doctor and clowns to an extent.

Tbh, I think Calm Spirit should be merged with Iron Will. Both are in a sense the same thing.

I support this change.

I don’t run spies but I actually find more survivors ‘cause of crows.

Survivors shouldn’t play stealthy? Calm Spirit is fine.

Yes, I want a perk with that effect since forever and Calm Spirit is the perfect candidate.

I like running it, with iron will you never cry out. Pain means nothing. I particularly like it when put on the hook, no scream nor when the killer keeps whacking you with their weapon while they camp you. They get no additional satisfaction from me.

Updated OP. Calm Spirit should also protect you from crow bombs on swamp.

I dont know if Calm spirit prevent the notification when someone unhook you, but i think that should do it.
