Farming BP with survivors after DC; Bannable?
So I've just had a game as killer, playing as doctor. Went around the map, found survivors, started killing them, the usual stuff in a game. Then at one point I keep getting sound notifications, turns out a Claudette dropped a pallet for no reason next to a generator being worked on (the first one of the game which was almost finished) and kept vaulting over it to attract my attention.
One of the survivors was already on hook (Feng), the Claudette went to Feng and unhooked right in front of me. Claudette went down of course but I downed Feng too. After that Claudette dc's. Feng basically got farmed right in front of me and on top of that Claudette was being fairly trollish from the start of the game.
Now my mind goes as follows: Claudette was trolling, even farmed Feng right in front of me and then she dc's. I feel bad for it, so I let Feng go, let her work on generators and the two Dwights who were in the game and working on the first generator (when the Claudette kept vaulting the pallet) I kept letting them do gens as well.
Now I wonder, is it bannable to do such a thing, letting them go after all that while every now and then on both sides farming for bloodpoints with chases, dropping pallets on me, etc? It's something I've been wondering for a while since I've let the survivors escape every time someone was trolling or dc'd at the start of the game.

No, you didn't exploit anything, you didn't hold the game hostage, just had fun with the remaining survivors.
If that's the way you like to play, you are fine.

It's not bannable unless it's done to the detriment of one or more players.

Alright. Thanks for letting me know (and so quickly too, wow).
So if a game exists of solely farming bloodpoints (when blodpoint gain offerings have been added into the fray) it won't be bannable as well, cause it does change the gameplay entirely?

Then it must be the survivor who should be banned, not the killer. The killer should be able to take advantage of everything, even of trolling survivors.

So "refusing to participate in normal gameplay" in the report descriptions is just for show?

That's not what he said. Why are you pretending he said something he didn't say?

@Peanits would that specific situation or other situations like it be bannable if done for strategic purposes?
For example unhooking someone to use them as bait in order to escape a chase on death hook

So if someone unhooks me in front of the killer constantly, basically killing me, I'm able to report them? Thank god, that is so annoying.

Cooperative farming is not intended as "normal gameplay" and is also "working with the killer/survivor". Technically, it violates multiple supposedly reportable offenses. Now we're being told they don't ban for it. Which is it?
