Nurse isn’t what is broken, her add-ons are.

A killer who ignores virtually every core mechanic of the game shouldn't exist.

So I'm doing a generator, teammate goes down in five seconds against a decent Nurse because she ignores every obstacle. Hide in a locker because I assume she has BBQ. She finds someone else with BBQ, they also go down in five seconds because it's a Nurse. I go run and save my teammate on hook, then she either blinks to the 4th teammate on a generator or she blinks to me/hooked guy. Either way, it's game over because all we're doing is ping-ponging between saving hooked people. Her ability to ignore every obstacle in her way: pallets, windows, even WALLS, makes it where she can easily down someone in less than ten seconds of chas and just hop from survivor to survivor. On top of that, she has the second best map pressure in the game, with Billy being #1 in that spot (in my opinion) so you have very little time to do gens because you're too busy evading her BBQ and saving your teammates. Do you HAVE to save your teammates? No, but if you just hide in a locker and do gens the whole game, everyone except you will die, you may or may not get the hatch, and you'll get basically no points and have the most boring game of your life, and I don't think anyone enjoys that.

Now, I know that Billy also has the ability to down people pretty damn quickly. Every killer does, technically, but they don't ignore pallets, windows, and walls like Nurse. With Nurse, all you can do is pray to god she's stupid and doesn't know how to deal with survivors double-backing her. You can't "just juke" a Nurse, because nine times out of ten she's seen other people do the same thing a million times and will down you anyway and there is not a damn thing you can do about it because everything you have to use in a chase she ignores completely. Pallets? You can throw it down and maybe stop her for a second, but she doesn't even have to break the damn thing. She just blinks through it. And if you try vaulting into her, she'll blink facing the ground so you vault right into her loving arms. Windows? You can fake vaulting to psyche her out maybe once, but if she isn't braindead she's going to expect it and then...shock, horror, you get downed/hit. Walls? Not safe, she can just blink through it, and you can double back maybe once unless she expects it (which shock, horror: most nurses expect it.)

Your best bet against her is being unpredictable and stealthy, but even that barely works against a Nurse who has any idea what she's doing.

I'm sorry this is super long and if it's jumbled or confusing or if I'm coming across as sarcastic or hostile. I am just trying to explain my honest POV on Nurse.

Let me tell you one thing, Nurse is OP even without any addons.

People who are trying to say .. "shes hard to play so she deserves to be OP" are totally wrong. Best example -> Genji was also really hard to play in Overwatch. And im not talking about Nurse difficult. To learn Genji to play an awesome Genji took 1000 hours not just ~100 hours like learning Nurse. He was way too OP and Blizzard nerfed him regardless of how "difficult" to play he is. Because if you played him you could crush your whole enemy team.

But its healthy for myself to have atleast 1 killer with which i can expect a 4k every game no matter what the survivors are bringing in and i just want to get the easy 4ks when im coming home after a hard day so i think its fine

She can get downs in 10 seconds. No other killer can do that.

There is counterplay for her, to an extent. However, games should ALWAYS be balanced around the highest level, and she's not balanced in the highest level. Even with no add-ons.

A Nurse playing to her maximum potential and not messing up is nigh unbeatable. If you don't think so, you haven't seen true top tier Nurses playing.

Nurse has her ability all the time.

Nurse doesn't give a ######### about structures of any kind.

If you think you can't juke the Spirit you're just a bad survivor.

If you talk to any really good killer in the game they'll tell you the same thing. Your opinion means jack.

Nothing compares to the Nurse's map pressure and the ability to override any defenses survivors might have in chases. The only thing keeping the Nurse from being nigh unbeatable is the player. The Spirit is the second best killer in the game, but it's not even a close gap.

When you guys can find notably good players saying that Spirit is better than Nurse and maybe some footage on top, be my guests.

I've seen plenty of God Nurses mopping the floor with 4-man swfs at rank 1, and that's enough for me.

You should try to get their attention you never know. They do take the ideas of random people like the MoM change that they proposed - it is not their original idea. I've seen it mentioned on the forums by another person and a dev saw it so ... Then ofc it is 50/50 if we/the players/ gonna like your idea but yea it is the Nurse so it can't get worse I guess

Devs also didnt know old flashlights were OP. Mccote had to get bullied by them (chinese livestream) until they realized okay .. thats actually ridiculous. I think Devs had too play against a god nurse and see how they cant do anything and they would nerf nurse in 1 week just like old purple flashlights.

but it is how it is, deal with it nobody gonna touch my lovely sally and its fun to completely dominant the game <3 i love it and i absolutely love the game.

for real - keep the good work up bhvr and first buff freddy .. and than other killers and maybe in like 2 years we can look at nurse =)
