Body blocking hooks - Reportable?
Is body blocking hooks a reportable / bannable offense? If so how do I report it? I have video evidence. It happens way too often in high ranks and shouldn't be allowed in my opinion.

No, it is a mechanic, survivors get points for protection hits, distraction and going forward this is how MoM will get its stacks so expect more of it.

Fair enough, but I had 3 survivors blocking 1 hook. I swung and hit but they just swapped resulting in me dropping the survivor. Yet another case of SWF benefits. How is this fair?

Just don't play against SWFs. Players having map-wide voice communication is really the only time this is an issue.
If 3 randoms actually managed to coordinate something like that and work together though you kind of have to give them props. But it was prob just a group of friends with mics.

If they did that, the upside for you is: you got 3 free chase-less hits in exchange of dropping a survivor. Now you have 4 injured people.
At high ranks, chases can last anywhere from 10 - 80 seconds just to land a single hit. So I'd say the net total is you saved a bunch of time hitting those 3 guys when they were sitting ducks.
Highly annoying, yes it is. But you can turn it upside down after that.

Mad Grit is a great counter to the survivors doing this at the hook, just the other day I got a 4k due to Mad Grit and survivors trying to prove they were better than the killer by blocking basement... It was a fun basement party. And sadly no one was able to Kobi.

Mad grit can avoid this. Combo with iron grasp I doubt they are leaving ur shoulder unless u get stunned

Drop the survivor, go after the next. They're all there and that's a blessing for all killers.
You should have started a slug fest. All 3 survivors in one spot? Oh hell yeah.

I had 3 people try to block me once. Ended up with 2 on the ground, one hooked, and one running away for dear life.
It's a bad strategy unless very specifically timed, and really only benefits you if you see all 4 of them.
Run iron grasp or mad grit if this is a big issue for you.

@BoredByDaylight before picking up the survivor, make sure that there aren’t other survivors nearby, and check for additional nearby hooks. If there are nearby survivors, give ‘em a smack, and they will most likely run away. If see more than 1 survivor near a hook after you’ve picked up the survivor, go to another hook. Very rarely will you have a survivor take 2 hits to body block a hook if they don’t have MoM up, as they’ll be swapping themselves for the survivor that you are carrying. And, don’t get greedy trying to down more of them. Leaving the survivor on the ground for too long, never ends in your favor.

And sometimes those 3 survivors fail and you end up hooking the guy AND one guy into the dying stage and 2 hurt as a bonus.
Sometimes they get away, sometimes they throw the game.

So many downvotes for the OP.
Meanwhile, killers body blocking the hook (aka face camping) was removed over a year ago because to many survivors complained.
Double standards at its best.

Killer can easily counter survivors bodyblocking by hitting them, even just dropping the survivor to get someone else.
Survivors on the other hand have absolutely no way to make a save if the killer bodyblocked the hook prompt.
They aren't even comparable. KILLER BIAS AT IT'S FINEST RIGHT HERE PEOPLE!

Right now I'm to lazy to link you the video where a killer hits 3 survivors in front of the hook and the survivor on the shoulder wiggles free.
So I just described the situation.

But that a 50kg claudette that is crouching, is an obstacle for a 150kg killer is kinda... weird.

I was just pointing out how face camping was not considered anything utterly dramatic, since survivors could do the exact same thing. This has changed and now the OP gets downvoted for complaining about it.
Has the killer a way around body blocking survivors? He sure has. But it requires some planning beforehand. Since he has to equip perks for that exact situation. While survivors problem was solved with the introduction of swivel hooks.
If this approach shows a certain bias, is highly debatable. But I would have preferred the same standards for killers and survivors.
Either swivel hooks for both sides or perks that help with that situation for both sides.
Not one treatment for killers and a different for survivors.
But that's just me, and I know that you have no word in balance or design choices. I just had to get that off my chest.

You're missing my point. In SWF it is a regular occurrence. It happens all the time because people use voice chat and plan the move whereas in normal mode they can't and is a lot less likely to happen. In regards to dropping the survivor I wasn't able too as the distance from the hook was too great and they were sabotaging hooks. Literally planning the move to troll. This is 100% trolling regardless of your opinion.

Uh... yea I know I've seen this before. Doesn't change a thing, if you are dumb enough to think you can hit 3 survivors before getting a hook then you don't deserve the hook. A smart killer would drop the survivor the moment he saw multiple survivors trying to body block.
And I wouldn't need to call out your killer bias if you weren't so blatantly biased towards killers. "Oh no survivors are body blocking the hook, this is so unfair to me!" Sorry if you legit think this way you need to get better as killer. I will drop a dude in a heartbeat when I see survivors doing this, then I have a slug, potentially a free hit or 2, and can snowball even harder.

Your ignorance is hilarious. If you drop a survivor after they've wiggled for so long they escape which is exactly what happened to me. They sabotaged hooks and sat by the only hook within my reach. I didn't even see them until it was too late. How is that fair?

Then you got outplayed. Next time you down a survivor make sure you have a hook nearby and make sure no other survivors are around to mess with you. Survivors should be able to do this to you a maximum of 1 time per game. If they do it any more then it's because you're a bad killer.
Also...
See a survivor with a toolbox running to the hook you are carrying to? Chances are they have sabo you should just drop the guy right now and avoid the situation all together.
See a survivor running in front of you and the hook is a good distance away? They might take a hit and there might be other survivors, you should just drop the guy right now and avoid the situation all together.
See 3 survivors standing in front of the hook trying to take hits? Does one take a hit and stick around? Well hit them instead of the healthy guys. So what if you carry away from the hook, if the guy is going to get off your anyway might as well ensure you get another down.
Seriously you make it sound like it's impossible to outplay this tactic. It's not. In fact it's laughably easy, you just need to not be stupid.

I see what you mean, but there are options. If you're near a hook, you can always drop them and hit the other survivors first. You'd have to be really far from any hook for that to make the difference, at which point it would probably be down to poor hook management.
We actually dropped stats recently for SWF groups.
If we're just looking at 3/4 man groups (one person blocking the hook shouldn't cause you issues), we're only talking about ~18% of all games.
Even so, if that is a common issue for you, I would suggest running Mad Grit. That perk will completely counter a bodyblocking SWF group, even if you're not near a hook.

That's why Agitation is my friend on every killer. Just the amount of time saved carrying people around is worth the perk slot.
Besides, I can run heroes down while carrying, injuring 2 - 3 in the process, or I can go look for another hook if that's what I really want.
I know there are teams that know exactly where to crouch to prevent the hook prompt from even appearing, and MAYBE that would be an analogy to the facecamping situation. You still can hit them though.
But MAYBE that's something to look into, the ability to hook from any angle. Because survivors CAN unhook from any angle.

So let's follow your logic here for a moment.
Survivors body block, killer drops the survivor, survivor gets wiggle progress (because dribbling was considered an exploit), and the body blocking survivors stay right where they are and won't run into different directions... oh wait they do.
No problemo, killer just gets back to the downed survivor aaaand the other ones go back into position.

Oh btw, killer found the survivor, chased him, downed him, picked him up and now he has to waste time by playing to survivor imposed rules.
I'm still waiting for the day, that the killer can break a gen just like survivors do with the killers objective.

I appreciate the stats and thanks for suggesting Mad Grit that is a good idea and i'll definitely try it. In regards to the stats are you able to drill down further to show this but for certain ranks / tiers? I genuinely believe for rank 5+ most SWF are 3/4 players (from my experience on PS4).

If it was like 99% of instances where you down a survivor and pick them up almost immediately, that means when you drop them to go for another survivor they should have ZERO recovery progress. So by dropping them to slug while you chase, the only ones wasting time are survivors. 1 slugged, 1 chased, and at least 1 healing the slug for at least 10 seconds on average. How many gens you think they will get done in this time?
