Lampkin Lane/Balance Landing = Broken Loops
I just had a game against a SWF group who used a Strode House offering in order to use broken balanced landing loops. It was damn near impossible to catch up to them since balanced landing negates the majority of the stagger even after it's been used to gain the sprint burst. This combination of a map and perk is kinda broken since there are multiple windows in the houses which have the potential to create an infinite loop. To fix this, in order to get rid of the broken balanced landing loops, the perk should only negate the stagger when it gives the survivor the sprint burst.

It is an obvious cheese, but it's not super popular so devs would look at it.
Just drop chase if you get looped like this next time. Untill devs actually get looped like this and plug it within a week.

This is why most of the killers don't wanna play against them. But yeah, let's nerf the killers even more!

This is what I do every time I get Haddonfield:
Identify the 3 closest gens and defend them like a madman from the beginning. Don't engage in any chase, unless you can hit someone in under 10 seconds.
If you manage to hook anyone in the basement, play around it. It's the only way you'll apply any pressure in that horrible map.
Do not, I say again, DO NOT go inside the house of pain if that gen is already done.

lampkin lane in general = insane loops
its the most unbalanced map in the game.
i think it would be way better if they just closed all the windows on the 2nd floor and made only the ones available that lead to a rooftop.
also, if they placed the gens up there more often, survivors would be trapped up there and needed to find a way around the killer to get out. i feel like that would be the right first step to do in order to balance this mess of a map.

This map in general is one of the worst, A lot of the maps favor survivors but this one... It's so one sided.
With balanced landing the main house becomes almost an infinite. They really should look into it and add gaps in fences, board up some of those windows but I don't think they will considering the most they did to it recently was move single generators to make them accessible to more survivors.

Why doesn’t anyone talk about the Lery’s infinite?

Haddonfield is the problem, not BL. Everything about its design is terrible, and has been since its release.

I think that Asylum is not better at all.

Don't nerf Balanced Landing, it's one of the few good perks Survivors have anymore. Wait for the map reworks. I agree that Haddonfield is super broken!

I think Asylum is not 100% wrong. Just forget about the gen in the middle building. Let them do it without interference, and don't go inside for any reason unless the basement spawns there. No reason to eat those 4 - 6 pallets, they will cost you the match every time.
You should be able to 3 gen them with the ones outside, and any time they go inside the building, they're just wasting their time.

Agree, Balanced is fine.
Haddonfield is the problem

Agreed. Against a good group of survivors with BL there isn't much you can do. Quite easily abusable.

Only time I'm
happyokay playing on haddonfun is if I'm playing trapper. No way for survivors to disarm the traps on the balcony without 2 people and even then it can be risky if the killer is nearby.0 -
Apparently they'll be discussing/revealing map reworks in today's stream, let's hope haddonfield is no.1 on the list because that map is god awful.

After the flashlight game, they just stopped playing invite games entirely. Now, they just play with rank 18s and 19s. I'll be honest, I've never seen a dev any higher than rank 15 so far. So, unfortunately, I'm not sure if they'll really be hit with the full cheese of this map.
