MoM nerf
- Mettle of Man: We have changed the condition for getting stacks from being hit by a Killer's basic attack 3 times to perform a combination of safe unhooks and / or protection hits a total of 3 times to activate Mettle of Man's Endurance status effect. Survivors no longer have to be injured to receive Mettle of Man's Protection. This means that Mettle of Man will work similarly to Borrowed Time and will require more work from the Survivor to trigger Mettle of Man's Endurance status effect.
What do you all think? Personally I love it but I want to hear what everyone thinks about it. :P

I like it. Encourages altruistic play which seriously lacks in the red ranks bc of genrush meta.

I think it's pretty good. Certainly better than it was.
The only downside for killers is it makes knowing when the Endurance effect is active more unpredictable, since it can be achieved with 3 unhooks.
But if you don't think that's better than having no counter on many killers then you're just looking to complain about something.

I dont know if it will be useful for me, I like to do Unhooks, but I dont want to rush to an Unhook to get my MoM-Stacks. Besides that, other people would do it as well.
But I like that they did not only let Protection Hits count but also Unhooks.
Will give it a try and need to test it out.

It's signature to more of how Ash is, I like the idea and this is a more of a deserving reward, no work high reward perks gets really old. Mettle of Man isn't want bothers me, it's the high reward you get for not doing anything is what bothers me.

Is this a buff?!
WHAT?!

Barely a nerf. It will still be meta after this. Punishes me for being a nice killer and leaving the hooks.
3 -
Oh look a buff instead of a nerf... CoOl!

Now, if I see a MoM, I'll think, "That guy is being a team player."

Just on paper it seems that I can remove the dust of all my basic M1 killers and start having fun playing all killers in rotation.
Devs im really suprised how fast u changed MoM, seriously. U did a pretty good job with that change.

love the change! haha it forces survivors to play only in premade groups hahaha because playing as solo, it would be a chaos, imagine every random teammate going for the stack, no gens running so more time for the killer to get 4k XD so the part I love is that this game would be more social, need to meet new people to play and learn from others (for survivors) and for killers bad if get a premade group and good if they are solo players with MoM XD

This is a buff for sure and it's not right. It should protect him going down and only on tank hits. It's too easy to just unhook!

taking a hit for a survivor seems to be a bit broken cause i was behind a survivor and got hit and i dident get annything towards my mettle darn

Here's my question: How does a Killer play around a Survivor running Mettle of Man? Or Mettle and BT?

Was this Survivor injured?

its a buff not a nerf. now braindead ppl will rush for the hook even more to get the unhook AND protection token at the same time. so two tokens for one unhook. oh, dont forget to combine it with good old DS. PETTY GOOD JOB SO FAR.

Honestly, while i’ve always said MoM is fine, I really hate this change just because it’s gonna make solo queue even more hellish. between deliverance and wglf, we didnt need more encouragement for survivors to rush the unhook because that they want their perks to function. i see some killer mains still complaining but this rework will really mean that if two or more people run MoM, the game is gonna be slow.

I don't know if it's just me, but I'm confused with this protection hit. I was healing my dying teammate and the killer hit me. My teammate got the stack, but I didn't. Also, I didn't get the stack when I was hit around injured teammate.
