Add Ons for Beginner Nurse
I've recently started playing nurse. I began with purple and green add ons, but the increased stun made her unplayable for me. After blinking, I'd look up to see just scratch marks; I could not hear survivors due to the loud chase music.
When I used just grey and yellow add ons, I became much better. I also use Shadowborn every time. Now, I often get 4 kills. But now I have a lot of unused green and purple add ons. The exception is the plaid flannel, which is awesome.
What add ons are good with nurse, which don't increase the stun time? Is it just me, or are a lot of the green and purple addons unusable?

you could just read the addon description and take/test what you feel its better... honestly i only use nurse to play when i i'm at rank 1, but get the noed prepared so they won't bodyblock you and make ur life a living hell. + bbc + ruin +noed +thanatophobia ( i don't use the nurse calling because the survivors will presume i have it they will run very far away from me and as soon as they hear my terror radio they will stop, so what's the point) the last perk it depends on the team, i usually see their build before start the match or if i see a lot of flashlights; but you could use dark devotion or that doctor perk to less 7m of ur terror radio. With nurse i basicly dont walk just teleport so getting a stun it's really rare

When you're new, I honestly recommend that you don't use any add-ons at all.
A lot of her power is muscle memory and using add-ons will mess that up for you. Start using add-ons when you're gotten used to blinking somewhat reliable.

shadowborn is an excellent perk for nurse cause your field of view is wider.
turn ur monitor edges towards the survivor while fatigued for more sight in a chase.
i would say, dont use any addons till you are confident with her.
nurse is all about muscle memory to control her blinks.
most addons (charge time, movement time, reappearence time, range) affect your muscle memory in a bad way if you switch them your blinks are off cause u need time to adjust.
the other skill as nurse player u need is prediction of survivor movements and map knowledge u will get with playtime.
for the fatigue aka stun time after a blink
first blink give 2 seconds fatigue, every additional chainblink adds 0.5 sec.
if u attack 1 sec more. dont attack if changes are low to hit.
Blink Fatigue Duration: 2s, 2.5s, 3s, 3.5s, 4s (+1s if attack)
i can recommend for every beginner
- "Pocket Watch" (brown) : -14% fatigue time / +9% reappearance time
- combined with "White nit comb (brown) -9% reappearence time
- less fatigue and negates the negative effect
the maximum blink range is 20m for 1 blink without addons. u need 2 seconds to fully charge the blink. cause the chain blink window is only 1,5 seconds your chain blinks are shorter than 20m. there is also a base inaccuracy with 2m that mostly dont trigger.

Pocket Watch and White nit comb, best way to learn Nurse, as they do not affect muscle memory as stated, only stun time, Shadowborn or Monitor is really good in FOV widening so you can have easier spotting during Stuns. I play PS4 Nurse and I was kind of a natural at it.

Nurse needs no add-on during learning curve, as other guys said above. (maaybe fatique shorteners, but I personally dont see much difference or any need of them)
First: you need to train muscle memory for how long to charge blink for certain distances, to get close enough for hit or for correction blink before hit. That is most crucial in chases obviously, and for a certain extend to reach exact points on map, like second floors, middle of jungle gyms, etc.
Second: very important to make a habit to rotate your camera during blink to observe surroundings. As you already probably know, once you release blink button while watching certain direction Nurse will blink there, but during blink you can freely rotate you camera to watch around. This is very crucial skill to acquire, since all Nurse is need - information.
Third: you need to learn for to use angle of blink to shorten overcharged blink, in case of chase for backrunners, but that is the least of needed skills on her, since you can predict backrunner and just release charge earlier.
As for FoV perks:
M&A is total garbage - never use it on Nurse. M&A is perk not for FoV, but for TR change, FoV part is just a unnecessary bonus. TR change is really useless on Nurse since she's loud af anyway. You can't sneak on Nurse, well, you can, if you will walking around, but that's at least not smart with 96% speed.
M&A's FoV change will constantly fck up your distance sense in and out of chase, so it will make your learning experience even worse.
Shadowborn is perk which you either use always or never use at all. Once again, cause of distance sense, when you get used to standart or extended FoV switching back will require some re-learning.
Other Perks:
As learning Nurse you need to have some extended time to catch survivors, so Ruin could be good choice. Another perks like Sloppy, Thanatophobia, PGTW will help to slow down game, Sloppy+Thana combo will give you good amount of time, cause hardly anyone want to run around injured against Nurse.
Once you reach certain level of fast chases you will want to switch into informational Perks, cause Nurse's pressure is high enough to pass slowdown perks, well, Sloppy is still solid on her though.
Discordance, Surveillance, Whispers, Nurse's Calling are good choices for a experienced Nurse.
If you have enough experience with other Killers and you can read game without much help from Perks, you can combine slowdown and information Perks at your liking.
Even potato Nurse as myself is capable of some good pressure against mid-rank SWFs.

Don't use any add ons while learning Nurse. After several hundred hours of practice, then you can start experimenting with add ons.
