Is the forums constantly freezing for anyone else?

Yes. I thought it was my browser and was about to look up a solution. The CPU usage is off the charts.

I haven't been freezing, but it has been lagging my computer pretty bad.
I've been getting a warning from my computer that 'this page will cause your computer to be unresponsive' because of the energy it takes.

Yep i just got it too. I was trying to tag someone and half way through the type it froze.

I was browsing the r.i.p. GF thread and the page reloaded on my smartphone about 4 times. Kinda odd.

I'm on Safari. Mine is just straight lag with stuttering, not completely freezing. Typing out this takes a long time because the input keeps lagging.

Im on mobile as well on Safari typing takes awhile because it is just really laggy and only completely disconnects sometimes

Interesting, will try to pay attention to it. As of now it looks fine. By freezing do you mean it gets stuck, or it is slow and unresponsive everytime you write or click on something?

I'm on Mobile, Android. Using the default Internet app for Samsung (not Chrome/Firefox/Oprah).

I'm using chrome(on mobile) and have the same issue. Super laggy(when typing), kinda laggy(browsing) the forum

I'm having the same thing, super super laggy this morning on safari with constant freezing, unable to edit comments, pages would only part load then freeze then load the rest of the page while scrolling, typing was madness inducing (typing and watching the keys lag behind you while you don't touch it at all for a good minute) especially backspacing and losing half your message (hit save draft if this starts happening to you, it stops the backspace then refresh the page, it helps a little)
Trying it on chrome now it's much better but still laggy with comments and editing and the drop down @ menu click doesn't work.

Every time I try to edit my posts the entire web page becomes unresponsive. It is completely fine until I try to edit something.

I can't delete tags in my comments on the mobile forum. Like if I accidentally tagged the wrong person. I have to go to the draft page and delete the entire comment. Pretty silly.

Multiple people are experiencing problems with this website.
They said Chrome was immune, but idk.

I've found that if you click below the quote and spam the backspace really fast it will go away but it'll probably take a couple tries at least.

Chrome on mobile very laggy and unresponsive at times

Yeah laggy when typing, the more words the worse it gets.
Editing is bugged and laggy sometimes it doesn't even load.
Tried it on mobile samsung browser, chrome mobile and Firefox latest version on pc. Firefox pc won't even let me edit.

Many times when I try to use the back arrow (on mobile), even if I just press it a couple times it goes crazy and slowly deletes one letter at a time. I’m talking sentences worth of text when I just wanted a single letter. Incredibly frustrating as I watch it delete all my hard work and plead for it to stop lol. It makes the forums unusable when it’s doing this

I'm using a Mac to look at this forum. This forum use to be fine several months ago, but this forum now runs like dog ######### on Safari. It seems to work fine with Chrome. You can't type more than a couple sentences and it starts to get really, really slow and you have to wait for your typing to complete. Finally my Mac tells me this site is "using a lot of energy" and recommends I close the window. This is a 2018 Mac Mini with a i7700 and 16GB of memory. It's not my computer! lol...
Someone needs to see why this site hates Safari.
