"OP" addons on Myers
Just finished a match as Myers and was told in endgame chat that I won because of my OP addons...which was Glass Shard and dead rabbit. I consider this setup rather tame tbh, but what do you guys think? Are half of Myers addons "OP"?

The only thing I consider OP are the tombstones and all high tier add-ons are OP they just wanted to call you bad ect excuses of why they lost.

@KillermainBTWm8 I havent gotten to play in AWHILE due to no internet, so Im goin pretty chill with what addons I bring. Was at Rank 15 earlier due to resets...

They have counters but you have to be an experienced player or at least be a little knowledgeable of Myers and his add-ons. Like if a Myers is using dead rabbit+M&A then the survivors need to stay on their toes and listen for breathing as well as look around. Or if they use tombstone piece or tombstone just try to get to a locker because you can't get mori'd by the add-ons if you're in the locker

@SnyprLife One reason I kinda laughed when SO many ppl were comparing Myers to Ghostface. Sure, their basekits might be similar, but while GF gets addons to walk faster while crouched and such, Myers gets addons that COMPLETELY change the playstyle.

green ranks and yellow ranks seem to be more toxic than purples and reds in my experience for some reason.

@KillermainBTWm8 only reason im USING Myers tbh is cuz hes got like 15 BPS and 15 survivor puddings on him, and im trying to speed lvl Ghostface since I couldnt participate in the double BP stuff...

All of Myers' add-ons are fine, nothing OP.

Myers with scratched mirror in a map like Lerys is pretty much unstoppable unless you really suck. It's super easy to catch people off guard and to no where survivors are at all times. The only way you lose is if you chase one survivor around the entire time and let them loop you to death which would be a really bad tactic and a waste of the addon.
Myers can be very OP. He has some good builds. But glass shard and dead rabbit are just small enhancements, not OP.

Only thing I would consider OP is Tuft of Hair and J. Myers Memorial. Infinite tier 3 is incredibly annoying but he can still be looped in any form so it really isn't that bad. I find Myers pretty overrated tbh.

@Steve0333 that's not OP. That's actually a really fun match. I love the jump scares.
I wish more killers had addons that allow for different playstyles.

In my opinion does are not the strongest addons for Myers... It depends what they meant with OP! Maybe they didn't like the stealthiness of your Myers. 😁

myers never op with any addons
he is good when fastest stalking build or unlimited3 + green stalking addon
if he used tombstone piece you can guess from how much gauge he earned and needs for level3

Glass shard OP...I can’t 😂 tombstones I get but dead rabbit and shards... what will they think when they get jumpscare, tombstone/infinite or super speed stalk (both memorial flower and J Myers memorial)

As someone who has been kind of stuck in green ranks for the past two seasons, I can confirm that green is the most toxic ranking. Purples and reds I have gotten matched with have been respectful while their yellow-possibly-rookie swf teammates t bag after pallet drops and such. Greens just consistently want to make you mad and ruin the game for killers.

I never really consider this until I'm actively determining what addons they're running by how long their stalk took, how they're playing, how long the exposed is etc. I even have a 6th sense now for when an exposed/tier 3 is about to go off even if I'm nowhere near them and can now run a T3 Myers a bit more reliably. But this is probably the same for anyone playing against a killer they play a lot, it's half the reason people say it's better to play both sides, because you learn/know all the opposing sides strengths, weaknesses and what they're looking for/playstyles.
The experience thing is accurate though, this is why 90% of the OP addon complains come from lower ranks, same with some perk complaints.
