Quit nerfing killers for the wrong reasons
Can devs please quit nerfing killers because some green rank survivors are salty because they suck and call every killer that wins OP? It happens everytime man. Make killers great and fun again. Give us more of a choice besides nurse, Billy, and spirit! I've already heard the whining about a nerf for Freddy already. At least let us console people enjoy him for a week or 2 before you nerf him to unplayable. This has got to stop though. We want more viable red rank killers. Am I wrong or do you agree?

I dont think there has been a patch where survivors didnt got nerfed since the release, but when killers get nerfed (?) them killer mains go crazy. just nod and smile y'all

Check out the steam global achievements for the proof.
The figures are exact though as only 25% have levelled a character to 25 so going by that 25% of killer players may have in reality reached rank 10 and 40% of survivors rank 10.
It's not exact as it depends on how long they play for overall even after reaching certain achievements.

Out of the 90% green, 30-40% don't understand how to play the game, play stupid, or don't wanna learn how to avoid the killer, die, and complain that the killer is to OP, and that's when the first nerfs come. Then it goes live, and those percentages grow even more. How is that fair balance?

How is that? Because I'm asking them to quit nerfing killers into the ground? Go play legion then. Go play wraith. Go play pig. Go play leatherface. Tell me I'm wrong. Try any other killer in red rank besides spirt, nurse, or Billy and let me know how well you do trying to main them with all the nerfs. I'll wait..

The whole concept of balancing game around low ranks is wrong. My guess is, high ranks spend more on DLC-s, and probably skins as well. Second, we're better people.
Ok, we're not.
But most importantly: it doesn't matter (much) how games turn out on low ranks. With more casual and inexperienced players, games are full of delightful potatoness, so outcomes are completely random. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my time as a newbie a lot, regardless of dying game after game; any sane person would know not to expect winning often when he/she is still new to the game. But once someone has played enough to know the game mechanics, perks, abilities, strategies, bla bla, that's when the game has to be more carefully balanced.
Can't give devs too hard a time for minor balance issues: with the huge variety of killers, maps, etc it's just never going to be "perfect". But it doesn't mean devs shouldn't at least keep trying to achieve some semblance of balance. It's absurd that on higher ranks we have one balanced killer, and the rest is up to survivors' mercy.

Keep in mind that only 25% of the community earned more than 1 million bloodpoints. So only 25% or less are active players. If you take this you can basically, say that around 40% of the ACTIVE players reached at least rank 10

This is not uncommon in the slightest. Achievements show the percentage of the total owners who earned an achievement. Many people (myself included) hoard games and never end up playing half of them. Others might buy the game, play it a couple time, possibly play it exclusively like a party game in KYF and then stop playing entirely.
To give an example, there's an achievement in PAYDAY 2 for just putting on your mask. It is literally the first thing you do in the game- you can't finish the tutorial or play a single mission without doing it- but at one point only ~66% of the people who owned the game had it unlocked.
We're not balancing around the people who never got to rank 10, that would be silly. It would be great if they decided to come back down the line, but making balance changes isn't going to suddenly make them reinstall the game and start playing every day. We would rather balance around the people that are playing the game.

The game on rank 10-20 is just facecamping, tunneling and hiding in lockers.
Also the killers are smurf accounts.
So they really didnt' do their job good at this one.

Already done that thank you and I can do well enough.
Wraith had a buff and at red ranks he can be strong in the right hands. Pig was a nerf to traps when egc was active which was needed but her main power the ambush and stealth not the one which is designed to slow the game down before that point and not kill. Leatherface well he needs some love probably a rework to gibe him some map pressure but I can do well with him in red ranks. Legion is another story his problem is DW is not a punishment he needs a complete overhaul.
You see how I posted the above? It's not crying or calling one side out saying its unfair it's called feedback without being overly dramatic and acting like those you claim to be at fault.

to be fair that's the global achievements of all players ever, Probably including people who played on free weekends or people who picked up the game for a while and dont play anymore.
The Devs should have the actual stats around the average daily player bases and their rankings.

Doubt you will read this, but can we get some Quality of Life changes on killers who desperately need some attention. We dont need nerfs on killers we just need some love so other killers can be viable your 2k limitations are hurting killers at least put it to 2k to 3k consistently.
Here's a list of things I could think of off the top of my head.
Trappers trap mechanics are nice, but he needs to start with more traps and should be able to get them from lockers having to travel halfway across the map and back to trap a loop is really bad pressure. Also having all his traps set at the start of the game would drastically help him.
Doctor needs some way to transition from treatment to punishment and punishment to treatment more quickly. Charge speed addons as well.
Huntress it would be nice to change her actual terror radius to 32 meters and change it from a heartbeat to a hum. Also remove the Hum from her directly.
Leatherface just needs a lot smaller tantrum time.
Pigs roar should be at the end of the dash attack charge not the start. Needs severe addon rework she has 3 powers all addons should cover at least 2 of them how she currently is. Also needs a faster crouch animation. Should also reactive traps for hatch closing and starting EGC.
Clown needs his list of bugs worked on.
Legions vault animation should be faster. His power should be still usuable even part way charged like before it was cool and unique. Due to how he is now mend should apply a action debuff speed to force people to mend not just wait till the last second. His actual frenzy stun is too long please reduce it by 1 second.
Plagues really unique, but being sick should have a downside to want people to heal.

The problem is in the definiton of what killer mains define as red rank viable. they say that nurse billy and spirit are those who are viable, but as survivor side they are not viable theyre just op cause they outplay different game mechanics you as a survivor cant counter. killer mains are mostly just biased that way. and because of that killer will get nerfs untils theyre out of those three mentioned. playing against them with redrank are most unfun games you have besides those "jerks" who just camp and tunnel the whole game.

Well, with the right Legion changes, you guys would make me play the game again. I would lie, then I would not say, that I am waiting for it. So at least one would for the right balance changes log in again :).
That's also the reason why I read every news I can get from dbd and also why the game is still installed - so I get instant the news^^.
Still... I would love to log again into dbd. But seeing the Legion in this state is too much for me :(.
